As a blogger, social networking is part of my everyday vocabulary. Though I never realized the importance or power of using social networking before I started blogging, now more than ever I know how powerful and empowering it can be.
Just as powerful as social networking with other bloggers and businesses is social networking for women. Finding a place where we can feel connected, inspired, and empowered in a safe female dominated environment is an amazing thing. BraveHeart Women is social networking for women that offers women a chance to be inspired by and be connected to other women who share the same purpose and passions as you. BraveHeart Women also gives women the opportunity to take action through global contribution. As a woman, knowing that there are other women out there who share the same passions and goals in life as I do, is a great thing. So often women do not have the opportunity to connect with other women in the way and capacity they would like to, social networking has helped to bridge the gap and make those connections possible!
While social networking for women may not be a topic everyone knows about, I think it is only a matter of time before it’s as common as email and blogging. It’s refreshing to know women can come together in a positive way and make a difference, and social networking is helping to make that a reality.

I love flowers, (who doesn’t right?) from the way they look and smell, to the way they can bring the brightest of smiles to anyone’s face in an instant! One of my favorite gifts to give are flowers and one of my favorite people to give them to are my mom.
Through the years my mother has done so much for me and it seems that the older I get the more I appreciate her and all of the tough love lessons and long, thoughtful talks she’s given to me, even though I may not have appreciated those things at the time. Though my mother and I may not agree on our favorite type of flower, mine are tulips and have been for years while my mother prefers lilies and roses equally, we both love receiving them! As a matter of face, I cannot think of anyone who deserves a big bouquet of roses, heck why not mix some lilies in there too, for no other reason than because I love her!
Thinking of sending that special person in your life a bouquet of flowers? Why not check out the amazing selection at 1-800-FLOWERS.com, they have so many beautiful options and who doesn’t want a “just because” flower delivery every now and then?
I love pediped…they are my favorite brand of children’s shoes…hands down! I wanted to pass along some exciting news to all of you from pediped! Enjoy!

pediped® introduces the next generation in ultimate comfort for children with Memory Foam Technology™ (MFT™ ) intheir signature ballet flats and sandals for boys and girls. I don’t normally talk very much about causes and donating on my blog, but when it pertains to the fight against cancer I make an exception.
Two very important women in my family left this earth entire too soon because they lost their battles with cancer. My grandmother, whom I never met and my great-grandmother, who was an integral part of my life both pasted away from complications of cancer and it has always weighed heavy on my heart. Any attention I can bring to the fight against cancer I am more than happy to be a part of! That is why when I found out about the Pink Power Mom campaign I knew I had to help spread the word!
Each year, Bright Starts™ honors and rewards eight women for their inspirational fight against breast cancer. Not only have these women persevered through their battles, they have become inspirational leaders and role models for their families and communities. Whether they have started their own breast cancer foundation or have taken on an active role in existing charity organizations, they have made it their goal to make a difference in the world. You can read about these women at http://www.pinkpowermom.com
Bright Starts™ wants to help these women and support their cause. We invite you to Become a Fan of Bright Starts™ on Facebook and Be a Giver. Through the month of June, Bright Starts™ will donate $1 for every new fan that joins us during the campaign to benefit Pink Power Mom charities. These moms will appreciate your help and support.
So do something as simple as becoming a Fan of Bright Start’s on Facebook and help fight breast cancer!

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Voctorinox Swiss Army. All opinions are 100% mine.
I, like many people, grew up without my real father in the picture. The time I did spend with my father was infrequent and honestly not many “memories” were made. I did reconnect with my father when my oldest daughter was born, but even after that our relationship has been strained at best. I did however have a dad in my life, my step-father, who from the time I was 10 made sure I had a roof over my head, clothes on my back, food in my belly, and a shoulder to cry on! My step-father has always been there when I needed him and to this day he is the only man I’ve ever considered worthy enough to call dad.
My dad loves watches, honestly I can’t remember ever seeing him without one! For years now he has worn the same old worn down watch that I remember my mom giving him as a birthday gift when I was a teenager. This year when I started thinking of Father’s Day gifts I knew a watch was the right choice…and I found the perfect watch, the Victorinox Swiss Army! There is it in all its glory…now that is a watch that I know my dad will treasure for years to come!
Think the Father in your life would love this watch? You can go here and check out the entire Victorinox collection! You can also head over to the Facebook IWAW sweepstakes page and Fan them and also participate in the I Wear a Watch sweepstakes for a chance to win a Victorinox Swiss Army timepiece!
Fast forward to yesterday and our conversation!
Me: (Folding a bra and sitting it on my bed) Thank you so much for your help Bub, that’s so nice of you!
Little Man: Yea Mommy! (picking up said bra) That your boobs Mom?
Me: Um no that is my bra silly boy, it holds my boobies.
Little Man: Oh yea mommy! (putting the bra on) I wear you ba?
Me: Um better not Bub bras are for girls.
Little Man: (struggling to get the bra on) I not a girl?
Me: Nope Bub you’re a boy…boys don’t wear bras do they?
Little Man: (taking the bra off) No Mommy! Daddy a boy?
Me: Yes Bub he is…good job!
Little Man: TayTay a boy?
Me: No Taylor is a girl!
This started a whole line of “Is this person a boy or girl?” questions that magically morphed into what I like to call “The Pee Pee/Po Po Game”!
Bub: Bub Bub has a pee pee and Sissy has a po po!
Me: Yes, that’s right! What does mommy have?
Bub: (Smiling hardcore) BOOBIES!
See that proves it…men (no matter what age) can’t get past the boobs!

Let’s say we’re building the perfect Father’s Day feast…breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert…this is going to be yummy! We’ll start with breakfast, heck why not even serve it to him in bed (hey, mom is not the only one who deserves breakfast in bed every once in a while). So what would the perfect breakfast be? Let’s see…how about Hawaiian French Toast? Sounds delicious!
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon, BUTTER
2 EGGS, beaten
1 teaspoon, CINNAMON
4-8, HAWAIIAN SWEET ROLS, cut in half
1/2 cup, MRS. BUTTERWORTH’S SUGAR FREE SYRUP, warm
THE STEPS
1: Heat butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
2: In a large bowl mix eggs and cinnamon.
3: Dunk rolls into mixture and coat thoroughly.
4: Cook bread until golden brown on both sides about 3-5 minutes each side.
5: Warm your syrup in the microwave and pour over toast.
Now let’s move on to lunch…how about something hot and spicy? Sounds perfect for the man in my life and I hope the man in yours thinks so too! How do chicken wings sound? That’s what I thought…perfecto!
¾ cup FRANK'S® REDHOT® Buffalo Wings Sauce
1. BAKE wings in foil-lined pan at 500°F on lowest oven rack for 20 to 25 min. until crispy, turning once.
2. TOSS wings in Buffalo Wing Sauce to coat.

Tip: You may substitute 1/2 cup FRANK'S® REDHOT® Sauce mixed with 1/3 cup melted butter for the Buffalo Wing Sauce.
Alternate Cooking Directions: Deep-fry at 375°F for 10 min.
Broil 6-inches from heat 15 to 20 min., turning once.
Grill over medium heat 20 to 25 min., turning often.
Now onto dinner! Something grilled sounds wonderful to me and what a perfect opportunity to show your dad or hubby what a grill mistress you are!
1/3 cup FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® or Honey Mustard
¼ cup dark brown sugar
4 (5 oz.) boneless skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper to taste
1. MIX salad dressing, mustard and sugar. Pour 2/3 cup mixture over chicken.

Makes 4 servings
Tip: Substitute boneless pork chops.
Let me tell you, the Tangy Ranch Grilled Chicken was a huge hit at our house! So we have one course left…oh yes and it’s everyone’s favorite…especially dad! So maybe the dad in your life likes football…and cake?
•1 pkg Duncan Hines® Moist Deluxe® Devil's Food Cake Mix
•1 tub Duncan Hines® Creamy Home-Style Classic Chocolate Frosting
•1 (0.68 oz) tube white glossy decorating gel
Baking Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 10-inch round cake pan.
2. Prepare cake according to package directions for basic recipe. Bake at 350°F 45 to
50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
3. Cut cake and remove 2-inch slice from center. Arrange cake as shown. Spread chocolate frosting on sides and top of cake. Make white frosting laces on football, using decorating gel.
Or maybe he likes brownies and cookies? Duncan Hines has that covered as well!
Cookies:
- 1 box Duncan Hines® Chewy Fudge Brownie Mix or Duncan Hines® Milk Chocolate Brownie Mix
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 oz of softened cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup peanut butte
Baking Instructions:
- Heat oven to 350°F. In medium bowl, beat brownie mix, softened butter, softened cream cheese and egg. Mix either by hand or by using a mixer.
- Roll 1 tablespoon of dough into balls and place on lightly greased or parchment lined cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Should make 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
- In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and peanut butter together and roll into small balls using about 1 teaspoon. Press peanut butter balls into surface of uncooked brownie cookies and slightly flatten cookie. Bake for 12 minutes or until edges are set. Cookies may appear slightly under cooked, but do not overbake. Cool on cookie sheets for about 3 mins and transfer to wire rack.
- If Desired: Place 6 tablespoons of frosting into a microwave safe container and melt (30 seconds), drizzle melted chocolate over top of cookie. Cool.
- For easy clean up, place wax paper or parchment paper under wire rack -- then drizzle the frosting on cookies

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Freschetta. All opinions are 100% mine.
Our family loves pizza! Whether it’s family night with a movie and our favorite pizzeria's weekly special or a busy week night and our favorite frozen offering, pizza is a huge crowd pleaser around here! Pizza is especially a great go-to meal for me because of how convenience the frozen brands can be. And since I depend on the frozen variety often, we definitely have our favorite brand…Freschetta!
We have been loyal Freschetta fans around here for years now and I can’t say enough nice things about their pizza…it’s just awesome! One of the new products we recently tried by Freschetta is the Freschetta FlatBread . I am a huge fan of Flatbread anyway and the fact that it’s Freschetta makes it even better! My favorite variety of Freschetta Flatbread is the Zest Italian…it’s covered in delicious meats and chesses and has an amazing zesty sauce that just takes it over the top! Of course, I cannot deny that I also love the Roasted Garlic and Spinach…it’s unique and awesome all at the same time and it makes this mommy very happy!
Have you tried Freschetta Flatbread yet? No? Well what are you waiting for? It’s yummo! And just because I love sharing great deals with you guys…you can go here and get a $1 off coupon so you can try Freschetta Flatbread for yourself…you’ll be glad you did!
