ErgoMotion Laser Mouse {Review+Giveaway}

Something about me that may come as a surprise to all of you is that I have carpal tunnel.  I was diagnosed with moderate to severe carpal tunnel in both of my wrists about 7 years ago.  While the pain comes and goes it is something that I have struggled with and have learned to live with through the years.  Being an online student and blogger means that I am on the computer a lot, on days when I am typing constantly I notice that the pain in my wrists and hands is worse and while I refuse to let carpal tunnel keep me from doing the things that I love to do I cannot deny that it often makes even the simplest tasks that much harder.  One of the hardest parts of working on the computer and having carpal tunnel is being able to use my computer mouse comfortably, more often than not my mouse leads to increased pain in my arms and numbness in my wrists and fingers.

This is my favorite feature by far!  I hated having my old mouse connected to my laptop with a cord, not only was it inconvenient when I wanted to move my laptop and still use my mouse, it was also constantly in the way.  The ErgoMotion USB tranceiver is so small you barely know it’s there and it is never in the way!

I was very excited to find out I would be reviewing the ErgoMotion Laser Mouse, as i mentioned above my old mouse was quite a pain to deal with and was not comfortable for me or my carpal tunnel.  As a blogger it is imperative that I be comfortable while I am working, having to constantly stop to give my hands and wrists a break makes it very difficult to get everything done in a timely manner.  With the ErgoMotion Laser Mouse I noticed almost right away how much more comfortable it was to use than my old mouse, I also noticed within an hour that the ErgoMotion seemed to cause less stress on my wrists and upper arms (where most of my pain from the carpal tunnel is located).  The swivel and rocking motion of the ErgoMotion makes this mouse almost effortless to use, I’ve noticed that I spend far less time searching for a comfortable position for my mouse and more time getting my work done…which totally rocks for this mommy and busy blogger. 
I would definitely recommend the ErgoMotion Laser Mouse to anyone with Carpal Tunnel, but I think it’s a great mouse for everyone else as well!
