Hey y'all!
It's been a rough two weeks for me at work; training for a new brand, lots and lots of angry customers, and the Mother's Day rush from hell, BUT I made it through and am back with my old brand and happier than ever...guess I'll never complain about too many hours again LOL.
If you've been reading my blog for a while then you probably already know how much I love the Bioré brand, seriously, I'm always super excited when I receive an email from them with new products to try and I almost always end up finding a new must-have skincare product when I do. So naturally when Bioré sent me an email a couple of weeks ago asking if I wanted to try out a couple of their must-have skincare products, I said yes and when they arrived I couldn't wait to give them a try!
I received the Bioré Free Your Pores Pore Detoxifying Foam Cleanser and the Bioré Free Your Pores Makeup Remover Towelettes from Bioré to try out recently and I've had a lot of fun adding them to my skincare routine for a little test run!
Let's talk first about the Bioré Pore Detoxifying Foam Cleanser! This cleanser tones, cleans and stimulates your skin, infused with eucalyptus extract, this self-foaming cleanser detoxifies skin and pores by removing surface toxins. The result: healthier-looking, refreshed skin. Gentle enough to use every day, this cleanser will have you feeling refreshed and renewed with every use. I have to be honest and tell you that I was a little skeptical about the eucalyptus and though the tingling effect it had on my skin did take me a little by surprise, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean my skin felt after using it! I'm a big fan of pore cleaners anyway and this one is no exception! You can pick up the Bioré Pore Detoxifying Foam Cleanser wherever Biore products are sold and at less than $7, this pore cleanser may just be your next beauty must-have!
Next up is my favorite of the two products, the Bioré Free Your Pores Makeup Remover Towelettes. These makeup removing towelettes work to instantly dissolve dirt and pore-clogging makeup, even the tough stuff like waterproof mascara! I'm not typically a fan of makeup removing towelettes, my eyes are far too sensitive to use most of them, but I was very pleasantly surprised by not only how little they irritated my eyes, but by how well they worked! Again, you can pick up the Bioré Free Your Pores Makeup Remover Towelettes wherever Bioré products are sold and at around $7 for 30 of them, they're a steal!
Since I'm a big proponent of "seeing is believing", I thought I'd do a little review video showing you the products in action...you can check that out below!
If you're not impressed by how well the makeup removing towelettes removed all of that makeup, then you must not be a hard-core makeup junkie like me, cause those are freakin' awesome! If you're looking for a couple of new products to add to your skincare routine and you love Bioré products like I do, then you have to check these two out!

Everything sounds better when it’s written in French…no? For some things however, being French in origin is only one of the many things about it that’s cool and that’s definitely the case with Le Couvent des Minimes. Hiker’s Foot Healer: Recover from a long day or help give your feet the extra relaxation and pampering that they need with this original recipe of nine beneficial plants that combine to nourish, soften, and soothe hot, tired, dry feet. The all-in-one foot healer includes Borage Oil (traditionally used to treat skin disorders—eczema,dermatitis, etc.), Shea Butter (known for its moisturizing ability) and Grapeseed Oil that combine to nourish and repair, alongside Wintergreen (to soften) and Ivy to improve microcirculation. Hiker’s Foot Healer is available in a 2.6 oz tube for $19.

As someone who tries to buy natural products as often as I can, I set high standards for Le Couvent des Minimes and I’m happy to report that they exceeded my expectations of them. The Eau des Minimes fragrance smells incredible and the Hiker’s Foot Healer has helped to make my feet softer than they’ve ever been before. Le Couvent des Minimes also has a wide variety of beauty and skincare products to make you look and feel as amazing as the story behind the brand, I definitely recommend that you check them out for all of your skincare and beauty needs!

Without a doubt one of the best things about being a review blogger is having the opportunity to try new products and when those products just so happen to come from one of your favorite brands, well that’s just the icing on the cake!
I’ve been a fan of Olay for years, ever since I can remember my mom has used Olay as her go-to skincare brand, so naturally when I needed a good brand of skincare products, I reached for Olay. In addition to being the reason, at least in my opinion, that my mother ages about 5 times slower than most people her age, I love Olay because it’s just great for your skin, I’ve never had issues with breakouts while using Olay products and for someone with skin as prone to breakouts as mine is, that’s a huge deal. Honestly, I can’t think of a single thing that I dislike about the Olay brand, so I was beyond excited when I was recently asked to try out some of the products from the Olay Fresh Effects line. I received several products (in addition to some other goodies) from Olay Fresh Effects recently to try out and I couldn’t wait to get started! But before I let you know my opinion of the products, let me tell you a little bit about the entire Olay Fresh Effects line.

A couple of weeks ago I celebrated another birthday, while it wasn’t the one I dread above all others (40), it does put me another year closer to it…and I don’t like it!
The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to take care of my skin, because whether it’s due to good genes or just plain good luck, I don ‘t have really any wrinkles (except for the three deep lines in my forehead that I hate so much) and I’d like to keep it that way Of course, taking care of my skin means that I have to remember not to go to bed with makeup on (I do that way too much) and establish a skincare routine that I can actually stick to and let’s face it, that’s not always an easy thing to do Thank goodness Bioré knows what women need in a skincare routine and they make it so easy for you to take great care of your skin at home and on the go!

And the best part is that I don’t have to lug around 5 different types of makeup remover when I travel, I can just pop the Bioré® Skincare’s Daily Cleansing Cloths and Makeup Removing Towelettes in my purse or bag and I have one product that does the job of several in a convenient, to-go package—pure genius! Since I definitely believe that seeing is believing, I thought I’d share a video with you of the Bioré Makeup Removing Towelettes in action!
While I did use the Bioré Makeup Removing Towelettes to remove eye makeup, it is recommended that you don’t use get the product in your eyes, but I use them nightly to remove mine with little to no irritation, just wanted to throw that out there!

Though I never want to fully admit it, as I get older I recognize the need to start taking better care of my skin. And even tougher is the reality that, anti aging skincare is just part of my everyday routine since I turned 30!
Try as I might I just can’t stop the effects of aging—it’s happening whether I want it to or not—so making sure that I use the best skincare products available to ensure that my skin stays healthy, glowing and amazing for years to come is a necessity!
Though I have tried several brands of skincare products that promise small miracles inside their bottles; I’ve never found a brand that comes close to providing me with the results that I crave like L'Occitane—the name alone sounds impressive huh?
A friend of mine introduced me to L'Occitane a couple of years ago and though I have only used a few of their skincare products (the Immortelle Brightening Cleansing Foam is completely out of this world), what I’ve seen has been extremely impressive. I am in love with their Pivoine Flora perfume—seriously you would die and come back just to wear it again! You can tell that the L'Occitane products are made with as much care and attention to detail now as when creator Olivier Baussan created the company in 1976! That’s quite a long time to make something absolutely fabulous in the first place, even better!
Though I have never tried it, I hear only good things about L'Occitane’s anti aging skincare products, and the fact that they’re made with ingredients like the immortelle flower (which never fades) and myrtle, a shrub several centuries old, it’s not hard to see why their Divine Cream line is one of their top sellers! And while I’d like not to admit that I need it, I should definitely order a bottle (or three) of the Divine Cream asap!
No one ever said growing old is fun, or glamorous, or easy, but I promise you that there are some amazing products out there that make the journey bearable (and dare I say fabulous)!
