If you have little ones obsessed with all things Santa at the moment you're going to want to pay attention to this!
Last year I happened upon a blog post talking about PNP (Portable North Pole) so I checked it out and was SO glad that I did! PNP where you can get a personalized video message from Santa. The messages can include Santa saying your child's name, your child's photo in Santa's book, specific toys that your child may want for Christmas, you can even choose the setting for where the video will be shot at (Santa's workshop, Reindeer Training Station, and more)! This year I did a personalized video for Lil Man and Lil Diva and they were mesmerized while Santa was talking and both of them were SO excited that Santa was talking directly to them! You can check out the link to Lil Diva's video below. And if you have children or grandchildren make sure you check out the PNP you'll be so glad that you did!

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, is everyone as excited as I am? Since Santa comes tomorrow night I thought I would share with you 2 different, easy, and awesome goodies that your kids can help you make for Santa...cause come on Santa gets tired of cookies after a while ya know!
First up is a candy that I've made with my kids so many times, it's unique, SO yummy, and super easy!
Ingredients
1/4 cup potatoes (leftover and instant will both work, but real potatoes do taste better)
5 cups confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
peanut butter
Directions
Mash potatoes (do not add butter, salt, or milk), add vanilla, and confectioners sugar at least 5 cups, but keep adding until stiff dough is formed (please note that it will take a lot of confectioners sugar to form a stiff dough, at one point potato mixture WILL seem to liquefy this IS normal, just keep adding confectioners sugar until mixture comes back together).
Once dough has formed place confectioners sugar on your rolling surface (I have a marble island that works perfectly for this, but you can use waxed paper on your counter) and begin rolling dough, roll until 1/8 inch thick. Spread a layer of peanut butter onto the dough (I suggest that you use a moderate amount of peanut butter...too much and the peanut butter oozes out the sides, not enough and the ratio of dough to peanut butter is off). Roll up like a jelly roll, wrap with waxed paper or plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight. Cut into single serve pieces and enjoy. Leftover peices can be stored between layers of plastic wrap in the refridgerator.
I made these on Thanksgiving with the kids and again for Christmas...they are so yummy, but very addictive and rich so eat in moderation. I also took step-by-step photos of us making this candy, but my daughter spilled soda on my laptop and the photos are forever gone (well at least until someone can figure out how to access them) so the photo is not mine, I just wanted to show you what they look like when finished.
Alright next up is an adorable candy that my cousin Tiffany made for my kids a few days ago, the kids LOVED them and they are so cute and yummy that they would make the perfect treat for Santa this Christmas Eve! Tiff made a How-To video to show you how it was done...enjoy! Oh and go to 1:04 to get started on the How-To Video! You can check out all of Tiffany's videos on her YouTube Channel!

Being a busy mom/student/blogger is not always easy; having two toddlers who don't believe in sleeping makes it even harder. With so little sleep to be had and so much work to do I've come to realize that like it or not coffee is my friend. The problem is that I cannot do plain black coffee, yuck, so I always make sure that I keep lots of Coffee-mate creamer in the house to give my caffeine boost lots of flavor! With seasonal, reduced fat, and sugar free creamers in liquid and powder, Coffee-mate has a little something to satisfy even the pickiest coffee connoisseur.
Of course, I'm also kind of fond of my favorite coffeehouse's lattes as well, I always get so bummed that I can't recreate the flavors and ambiance at home...until now! Coffee-mate has introduced their new Classic Coffeehouse flavors, they instantly transform your home into your favorite coffeehouse!
Being a habitual creamer addict I've tried almost every flavor Coffee-mate has to offer. I like to imagine that I'm at my favorite coffee-house when I'm sipping my morning coffee, and with Coffee-Mate and all of their amazing flavors that is so easy to do! Coffee-mate recently introduced their Classic Coffeehouse flavors:
Caramel Macchiato: The delicious warmth of caramel with an authentic smooth latte flavor White Chocolate
Caramel Latte: A delicious blend of sweet white chocolate, warm caramel and an authentic smooth latte flavor
Café Latte: A lightly sweetened, smooth and creamy, authentic latte flavor
Can you say heavenly? Seriously who needs that other place when you can get amazingly yummy, delicious coffeehouse taste without leaving home or breaking the bank! My personal favorite is the Caramel Macchiato, it's absolutely delicious and makes my mornings a little easier to handle!
Recently I received a Coffee-mate gift pack for my review to help me recreate the coffeehouse experience in my own kitchen! I have to admit I was excited about this review because any excuse for me to steal a few minutes for myself is a great one! So how did I recreate the coffeehouse experience in the comfort of my own kitchen? After brewing a big pot of coffee and adding some Caramel Macchiato I sat down at my desk (in my PJ's) turned on some new music and just enjoyed my morning while everyone else in the house slept! Does it get any better than that...no way!
If you're tired of having to run down to your favorite coffeehouse and pay crazy prices for your favorite latte then I definitely suggest that you try Coffee-mate's amazing Classic Coffeehouse flavors!
Now I have a treat for one very lucky MIBR reader! One reader is going to win a Coffee-mate Gift Pack like the one I received to help them recreate the coffeehouse experience in their own home! There are some shows that have you on the edge of your seat and keep you there from beginning to end and V is one of them! In case you haven't checked out V yet (and I cannot imagine that is the case as this show is awesome) you can get caught up by checking out what ABC.com says about the show below!
From the ABC website:
"First there was rumbling. Then, darkness filled the sky. The Visitors have arrived. FBI Counterterrorism Agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) stares in disbelief at one of the 29 massive alien ships hovering over the major cities of the world. A video image of the beautiful High Commander, Anna (Morena Baccarin), is seen from above. She soothingly says, “Don’t be frightened. We mean you no harm.” That’s a relief.
The Visitors spread their message quickly and clearly: They come in peace, bearing gifts of medical miracles and technological breakthroughs far beyond our wildest imaginations. Through their Peace Ambassadors program, the Visitors have built a loyal following. But not everyone trusts the V’s. There are those who believe they are strategically arming themselves with a very powerful weapon: Devotion.
As the world’s fascination with the V’s continues to grow, Erica discovers a secret hidden beneath the skin of every V – a secret that may threaten the lives of everyone close to her. This includes her teenage son, Tyler (Logan Huffman), who believes the V's are his ticket to something incredible.
Chad Decker (Scott Wolf), an ambitious network news anchor, scored the first one-on-one TV interview with Anna. This led to an exclusive relationship that furthered Chad’s career while providing positive PR for the V’s. This was necessary because there are those are skeptical of Anna’s intentions.
Father Jack (Joel Gretsch) is a priest who began questioning his own faith in the wake of the Visitors' arrival. Seeking answers outside the church, Jack learned there are other dissidents who believe the Visitors are not who they say they are, including Ryan Nichols (Morris Chestnut), who was faced with his own life-altering decision once the Visitors arrived. Why? Well, Ryan is a V who knows the truth behind Anna’s plan. There are others like him. These V’s who have turned against their leadership became known as the Fifth Column.
So, here’s where we are: Erica knows that Ryan is a Visitor, but doesn’t know that Tyler visited the Mothership with Lisa (Laura Vandervoort) to meet her mother, Anna; Father Jack was stabbed by a V security guard he saw at a warehouse where evidence showed that experimentation on humans had taken place; Tyler’s therapist, Valerie (Lourdes Benedicto) , revealed that she’s pregnant with Ryan’s child; and Chad, while doing a report on the V’s Healing Center, was told he has a potentially fatal illness. Will he let the V’s cure him and, in turn, be indebted to them forever? Will Erica and the rest of the Resistance be able to build an army strong enough to win the day?"
How's that for entertainment? You know, I have to admit, I would be completely freaked out and overly cautious if the V's showed up in my town. No, wait, actually I would be terrified because all things like that scare the crap out of me. My mom on the other hand lives for the day that "visitors" show up and try to make nice with us humans. I think that if my husband and children decided to have faith in and believe that the V's were here for good that I would definitely have a problem with it as I am a little more skeptical and cautious of things that appear to be a little too good to be true...and I think that the V's definitely fall into that category!
My mother and I actually had a discussion about what each of us would think if the V's suddenly appeared in our neighborhood.
Me: So mom, you've seen V right?
Mom: Yes, I love that show!
Me: I knew you would. So what do you think you would do if the V's suddenly appeared in our town?
Mom: Hmm, well I don't really know. I mean I've seen enough Sci-Fi movies and shows to know that most aliens encounters are not peaceful.
Me: You'd be the first one in line to get on the mother ship wouldn't you?
Mom: Am I that obvious?
Me: Uh huh
Mom: Well it's all so fascinating and I think that the show does a great job of getting people to think outside of the box when it comes to aliens and invasions, and all of that.
Me: So what if I told you not to get on the ship? Would you still go?
Mom: Probably, I mean come on you mean to tell me you wouldn't be even a little curious?
Me: Oh yes, I'd be curious, but I'd do it at a safe distance. I've heard that aliens aren't all that friendly ya know.
Mom: Make fun of me all you want, I can't wait for the second season to start!
And that was the jest of our conversation. Of course, I knew going in that my mom and I would have very different opinions on how we would handle an unexpected visit from the Visitors, but she was right that the show does indeed inspire conversations and what if scenarios.
And if you're as curious as I was about V make sure visit http://bit.ly/e6ABTG to pick up your set in time for the holidays and the Season 2 Premiere (it makes a great holiday gift for the Sci-Fi junkie on your list) because Season Two premieres on Tuesday January 4th at 9/8C on ABC! You can also head over to the ABC.com V website to watch episode highlights, a Season One recap, Star bios and so much more!

I love this time of year; snow is falling, cookies are baking in the oven, and all of my favorite Christmas movies are playing on TV. I love all of the shopping and the crowds, and just the excitement and anxiousness that's in the air! Speaking of shopping, one of my favorite places to shop is Macy's, for me Macy's and Christmas just go together and one of my very favorite things about Christmastime and Macy's is their "Believe" campaign!
In case you're not familiar with the "Believe" campaign let me fill you in!
We’re happy to announce that Macy’s 3rd annual Believe campaign is expanding this year!
Starting November 7th, believers of all ages were invited to drop off letters in the Santa Mail letterbox to earn a $1 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation – up to $1 MILLION.
Macy’s Facebook Fans have an exclusive chance to earn up to an additional $250K for Make-A-Wish by winning the Believe Challenge game. Based on the cartoon special Yes, Virginia, fans are challenged to help Virginia and Ollie get their letters to Santa. Each winner will earn another $1! If you are already on Facebook, be sure to check out www.facebook.com/macys to join the fun – and the cause.
However, there’s much more to this effort that builds on the successes and spirit of the previous years. Visit the Believe mini-site for interactive tools to create your Santa letter. Also coming back is the “Yes, Virginia” holiday special — but this year you can purchase the DVD and book with 10% of the proceeds also being donated to Make-A-Wish!
Macy’s National Santa Tour – For the second year in a row, Santa will embark on a whirlwind American tour, spreading joy to girls and boys cross the country following his celebratory kickoff of the holiday season in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®. Stopping in 26 new cities across the U.S. through Dec. 22, Santa’s National Tour will give children the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the man himself. Visit www.macys.com/believe for scheduled stops and to track Santa’s latest location.
Believe Mini-Site – At www.macys.com/believe, you can find a portal to other great Believe elements including the “Believe” Activity Guide, Celebrity Santa letters, and the Santa Tour Tracker for believers for all ages who want to meet the man himself!

I've bought Any'tizers before for the kids and they have always enjoyed them, but we had never tried the QuesaDippers until recently, but before I get to what I think about them let me tell you some more about the new Tyson Any’tizers® QuesaDippers!
Tyson Any’tizers® QuesaDippers come in two delicious and family-friendly friendly varieties; Taco Seasoned Chicken with Zesty Garden Salsa and Fajita Chicken with Cilantro Lime Salsa. I'm sure I've mentioned before how much my family and I adore Mexican foods so the QuesaDippers were perfect for us! Tyson Any’tizers® QuesaDippers combine flour tortillas. flavorfully seasoned all-white chicken and delicious Montery Jack cheese, and they are packaged with salsas that are perfectly paired with the QuesaDippers!
I can see the Any'tizers QuesaDippers being a perfect addition to our holiday party menu, they are easy to prepare and taste really good. We tried both varities of QuesaDippers and I have to admit that I wasn't all that fond of the Taco flavored, I enjoyed the Fajita chicken much better.
So if you're in a crunch for time and need a couple of finger food additions to your holiday party menus these are perfect for that! Tyson Any’tizers® QuesaDippers are available in the freezer section of your local grocery!
Now how would you like to try Tyson Any’tizers® QuesaDippers? Good news...I have some FREE product coupons to share with 2 very lucky MIBR readers! Each winner will receive 2 coupons for FREE Tyson Any'tizers!

What is the best gift you ever gave? Wow, that's a hard one! Do I choose the PS3 I surprised my kids with last Christmas? Or maybe the surprise weekend trip to Gatlinburg for my oldest daughter's birthdays a couple of years ago? While those were most definitely awesome gifts, I can't pick either because I have one that's even more awesome! Without a single doubt the best gift I ever gave was the gift of a Chuck E Cheese birthday party to one of the little boys who live in my neighborhood!
Last fall my husband and I were preparing for a day of fun with the kids at Chuck E Cheese, as we were loading the babies into the car my step-son came walking up with one of his friends (I will just call him C). C looked pretty blue so I asked what was wrong, he stalled for a few seconds and then looking at the ground he quietly told me that it was his birthday. Not really understanding why he would be so upset on his birthday I wished him a Happy Birthday and asked what plans he had for his big day. Again C stalled and looked a little embarrassed then finally admitted that he really wanted a birthday party, but his mom wasn't having him one. It broke my heart to see C so sad on his birthday, he's such an awesome kid and the thought of him not having a blast on his big day was something that I could just not be alright with. So I gave my husband that look, you know the one we give to the men in our lives when we're about to do something they might not like, and called C's mom. Once I received the OK from his mom (which was a little too easy considering it was her son's birthday) we packed all of the kids (including C) into the car and headed for Chuck E Cheese.
After pizza, games, and lots of fun I walked to the register and bought C a cake and asked if Chuck E could come and wish him a Happy Birthday...and a few minutes later Chuck E came to our table bearing a cake and a high 5 for C. I remember the look on C's face when he saw the cake, it was one of amazement that someone who didn't have to care, cared enough to make sure his birthday was a great one! It wasn't until we were on our way home that I heard C tell my step-son that he had the best birthday ever that day and that one of the things he had wanted to do most was go to Chuck E Cheese because he had never been...that made my entire day. Knowing that I gave a little boy a simple birthday party with a last minute cake and a few game tokens warmed my heart...it was definitely the best gift I ever gave!

There's nothing worse during the cold winter months than having chapped lips, alright well maybe there is something worse, trying to wear lipstick with chapped lips...um no! Every lady who has ever tried to make her lips pretty while they were chapped knows all too well how hard it is to do, but I have a couple of great products from Carmex that may just help you solve the chapped lips problem!
Carmex has been a go-to product for me for years when my lips are dry or chapped, though it doesn't taste wonderful (my one and only gripe about this product) it works...consistently! I received two Carmex Moisture Plus Tint products from Carmex to try; one in pink and one in peach. First I have to say that I love the look of sheer color with the strength of Carmex behind it, it makes it easy to look fabulous and sooth chapped, dry lips at the same time...major points! I was worried that the Moisture Plus Tints wouldn't be as effective as the original Carmex products that I use all of the time, but those worries were put to rest after my first use. Not only do Moisture Plus Tint work...they leave your lips soft, smooth, and feeling great!
If you're looking for a last minute stocking stuffer, or just need to stock up on Carmex products and want to try something new I suggest you try Carmex Moisture Plus Tint, you'll love it!
