When you have a big family everything costs more; groceries, clothing and especially utilities, and no utility bill is as out of control as our water bill. No matter how many times I beg and plead with my children to take shorter showers or to not let the water run while they brush their teeth, my water bill keep rising every month. I’ve tried to come up with creative ways to get the kids to take shorter showers (my favorite was a cooking timer set for 10 minutes) and I’ve also become much more mindful of how much water I personally use, but it seems that it’s all for naught.
When I received an email from Mom Select about a review program for Waterpik’s EcoFlow showerhead I knew that I had to try it, thankfully I was chosen to participate in the program, hopefully helping put an end to outrageous water bills!
Features of the Waterpik EcoFlow showerhead:
*Can save up to 1 gallon of water per minute
*Can save up to $100 annually
*5 powerful spray settings
*Exclusive water-saving fingertip control reduces water flow to a trickle while you shampoo, condition, shave and wash
*OptiFLOW technology improves water force by up to 30%
*Showerhead detaches from base for easy hand-held use
I’m rather picky when it comes to showerheads, I want great flow that’s powerful enough to get the job done without being overly powerful and making the shower painful. We’ve used other low flow shower heads in the past and quickly replaced them with regular heads as the water power was just awful, so I was a little skeptical about the EcoFlow at first. My husband who always takes showers was also skeptical, but I convinced him to install the EcoFlow and give it a try!
First of all I have to comment on how easily this showerhead installs; it fits on any standard shower arm and doesn’t require thread take—a definitely plus! Since we already had a showerhead that was similar in design it only took about 5 minutes to remove the old shower head and install the EcoFlow showerhead, which was a big plus for my husband! After the EcoFlow shower head was installed I decided to be the first to try it…I was instantly impressed! While I can tell a difference between the EcoFlow showerhead and my old showerhead, the difference wasn’t enough to cause me to have an unpleasant shower experience, as a matter of fact, the opposite was true—I actually like the Waterpik EcoFlow showerhead much better than our old one! I love the different settings and the circular massage feels amazing after a long stressful day! The fact that the Waterpik EcoFlow works great and saves us money, well that’s a huge plus and a definite win-win in my book!

One of the best things about living in southern Ohio in the springtime, is spring thunderstorms (I love them) of course, the spring thunderstorms also happen to be one of the worst things about living in southern Ohio in the springtime! I’ve suffered with sinus problems all of my life and it seems that no matter how old I get, or what preventative medicine I take, I almost always get severe sinus headaches when a warm or cold front comes in, especially during a springtime thunderstorm.
My mother, who has also been a long time sinus problem sufferer, introduced me to the idea of sinus cleansing as a way to prevent sinus headaches; I have to admit, I was not instantly sold on the idea of shooting water up my nose. Of course, my mother assured me that it wasn’t nearly as heinous as I imagined and hesitantly I tried it and realized that I should have been doing it a really long time ago!
Since I’ve started regular sinus cleanings, I can tell a huge difference in the severity of the sinus headaches I get; before my headaches came on strong, lasted for hours, and in most cases were unresponsive to medicine, but after routine sinus cleanings the severity of my sinus headaches was much less intense than they had been in the past.
Since I normally do clean my sinuses I was psyched to get to try out the Waterpik® SinuSense™ Sinus Rinse Water Pulsator!
The Water Pulsator from Waterpik, is designed to gently massage, clean and moisten your sinus
es with a gentle pulsing stream of water. The Water Pulsator, reduces allergy and cold symptoms to provide users with an added layer of protection from sinus related issues.

I’ve used the Waterpik® SinuSense™ Sinus Rinse Water Pulsator several times since it arrived and I have to day that I really like it. I can tell a huge difference in the allergy and sinus headache symptoms that I have when I’ve used the product recently and when I haven’t. If there is one thing that moms the world over relish it is their bath time. Some of us like baths and some of us like showers, but I can guarantee you that all of us LOVE bath time! Having four kids running around all day screaming at me, demanding this and that, and beating the crap out of me makes me one very tired and completely stressed out mom at the end of a long day, but I know that all I have to do is go into the bathroom, lock the door, turn on the shower and let go of all of the days worried. Of course, I am a bath person—I will take a shower, but I prefer to take a bath. Getting me out of a hot relaxing tub at night and into the shower is going to be hard sell.
When I was asked to review the Waterpik showerhead I was hesitant, but decided that it looked too indulgent and relaxing to pass up. Waterpik has been around since 1962 and have been committed to developing innovative personal and oral care products. They are dedicated to creating products that will not only improve the health and well-being of their consumers, but provide a truly transforming experience. WaterPik showerheads are designed using their patented OptiFLOW technology, to maximize water pressure by increasing water force by up to 30%! This provides you with an enjoyable shower, so you feel refreshed and invigorated.
I was sent the Waterpik Easy Select Medallion showerhead to review. As soon as I opened the box containing the Easy Select Medallion I couldn’t wait to remove my old showerhead and install the Easy Select. The Easy Select Medallion looks indulgent and sleek, like it was made to grace the showers of the rich and famous. Ultra sleek and sophisticated the Easy Select Medallion looks as beautiful as the amazing shower it provides. It took some pleading on my part, but I finally convinced my husband (aka SO NOT Mr. Fixit) to install the Easy Select. My husband, who grows inpatient starting the dryer wasn’t too happy about installing the Easy Select Medallion , but I promised him that the installation was a breeze so he reluctantly agreed. It literally took 5 minutes to install the Easy Select Medallion , and that included removing the old showerhead. I’m pretty sure that hubby was impressed with how easy the installation was as well.
As I mentioned above I am more of a long, hot bath kinda gal, but the Easy Select looked so new and shiny and tempting that I couldn’t resist taking a shower (as soon as hubby installed it). The Waterpik Easy Select has 5 custom spray settings (my personal favorite is the Circular Massage) and with the spray selector on the handle of the showerhead it was so easy to switch between the different settings to find the flow I liked best. I have to admit, my shower with the Easy Select was AMAZING. The water flow was perfect on each of the settings and I loved the fact that the hose was flexible and had a 5 foot range.
Even though I still indulge every once in a while in a nice hot bath, more often than not I find myself showering (and loving it) with the Easy Select Medallion!
