I have a confession to make…I’ve had the same hairstyle for nearly my whole life. Aside from a perm gone bad when I was 10 and a few short hair cuts that I let people talk me into, my hair has been long, brown and straight for nearly 30 years…sad huh? It’s not that I don’t like my hair, I love it actually, it’s that I get so bored with it and thanks to the stick straight hair I’ve been cursed with, I can’t even get it to curl and hold for more than 20 minutes. I’d love to be able to do something different with my hair, but it’s just doesn’t seem to be in the cards for me in 2013 and honestly, it kind of stinks! Since changing my hair (drastically anyway) isn’t really something I’m all that interested in doing, I have toyed around with the thought of using hair pieces and extensions, but have never really tried them, until recently when I was introduced to Hairdo by Hair U Wear.
If you’ve ever thought wanted to change your hairstyle, without stepping foot into a salon, then get ready to see what Hairdo by Hair U Wear can do for you!
About Hairdo by HairUWear…
Hair U Wear is a world leader in the alternative hair category. With their hair systems for men and women and their ever expanding selection of extensions and hair pieces, it’s not hard to understand how HairUWear is at the forefront of the alternative hair revolution!
I mentioned above that I was recently introduced to Hair U Wear, or the force behind their publicity rather, their amazing PR rep, and I was instantly intrigued, intrigued enough, to throw caution to the wind and do a review of their Simply Straight Pony (a ponytail for women who have short hair). First I must say that my own hair is quite long and while the color of the pony was extremely close to my own (my husband said he couldn’t tell where one ended and the other began…that’s a good thing…right?) it was almost exactly the length of my own hair and I didn’t think reviewing the pony in my hair would do it justice. So I decided to go with someone whose natural color is almost exactly the same shade as mine, but whose hair is much shorter, so I asked my step-daughter K if she could help me out and she was more than willing to lend a hand…umm, err, a head!
First and foremost I must mention that the Simply Straight Pony is not human, but synthetic hair and it does what other synthetic hair can’t, it can be styled… you can use the flat iron, curling iron and blow dry, just like human hair…um definitely a plus! The Simply Straight Pony is an 18 inch long wrap around pony that is not only super easy to put on (and take off), it looks so good too! Honestly, I could go on and on about this pony because I really do love it so much, but I think I’ll let the Simply Straight Pony speak for itself…check out our how-to attach the Simply Straight Pony video below!
