Having four children means lots of things; take for instance the fact that I almost always have mismatched socks on (apparently my dryer monster has a sense of humor because he finds it necessary to only eat my socks…nice), or that I am always late…for everything, and don’t even get me started on why my children have enough clothes to open their own clothing stores while mommy’s closet looks like someone broke into our house and only stole my clothes. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this mommy needs a makeover…and getting one has been high on my list of resolutions this new year!

ReplyDeleteI could really use a makeover after letting myself go (for the past 30 years raising 6 kids...now 11-30) and forgetting to take care of myself. I have been pretty sick the past 9 and let that "drive" my life and make me feel like I was not worth the time or money to pamper myself at all. I just turned 50 and maybe had a mini revelation that 'if I dont take care of me, NO ONE ELSE will". A little self love and a trip to Macy's just might be what the doctor ordered! LOL! thank you!

I need a makeover because I just moved to a new town for college and I don't know anyone. A makeover would give me the confidence to go out and meet new people.

I want jeans that fit without having to wear a belt. I want a bra that fits without me buying it from the children's section of the department store. I need a new hair cut so people don't assume I am still in high school. I would love to smile without everyone noticing the flouride damage on my teeth.

I need a makeover because I am a homeschooling mom of 4 that spends most of my days in pajama pants and ponytails. We have a four month old that has health issues and I haven't really been able to take care of myself. I haven't gotten a real haircut in at least eight months and I can't remember the last time I bought new clothes. cwitherstine at zoominternet dot net
