My son is all boy! I suppose I should count my lucky stars, because he’s grown up around mostly girls his whole life. As a result my house is a mishmosh of dolls and sparkly things and super hero costumes and cars—lots and lots of toy cars.
My son has had an obsession with toys cars since he was very little, it probably has a lot to do with the fact that his daddy has the same obsession. So when I was invited to take part in a campaign for Hot Wheels RC Nitro Speeders how on earth could I say no? Not that I would because I think Lil Man’s love of cars is too cute for words, but I’ll try!
Hot Wheels RC Nitro Speeders are tiny remote control cars with big power! “Engineered for extreme speed, this highly responsive R/C car delivers amazing performance! The micro but mighty vehicle lets you race anytime, any place with scale speeds up to 600 mph! Plus, the car comes with a carrying case that serves as a remote control and charger.”
Lil Man received the Ford Mustang Hot Wheels RC Nitro Speeder, and he knew instantly what type of car it was, a Mustang is Daddy’s next “toy” as well! Now, before I go any further I have to say that I don’t have any photos or videos of Lil Man playing with the Nitro Speeder, because unfortunately my laptop is currently having issues and is refusing to upload anything, but I will update the post with pictures as soon as I figure out what the problem is.

Now, on to the review!
As I mentioned above Lil Man received the Ford Mustang model of the Hot Wheels RC Nitro Speeders. He was instantly impressed and more than ready and willing to give it a whirl, Mommy on the other hand noticed instantly how teeny, tiny it was wondered how long it would take him to lose it. After the initial, “MOM I wanna play with my car!” from Lil Man and the required charging time Lil Man was off and racing his Mustang all over the house—and loving every minute of it! Even though I was sure Lil Man would lose the car before he was even finished playing with it for the first time I was impressed that he didn’t and my single favorite feature of the Nitro Speeders, the charger that doubles as a storage case, has kept Lil Man’s Mustang safe and sound—which I love!
I love that Lil Man loves his RC car, but I also love the tiny size and how well the Nitro Speeders work, to be honest I wasn’t sure how well the tiny RC car would operate, but it exceeded my expectations—kudos Hot Wheels! I have no doubt that the Hot Wheels RC Nitro Speeders will be a huge hit this holiday season!

As a blogger I get to review some pretty cool products, a lot of time those products are for my kiddos, and occasionally we receive a product that instantly makes me “the coolest mom ever” (according to them anyway). When we had the opportunity to review the hot new toy DaGeDar I had no idea that it would quickly become one of my kids all time favorite toys, but it SO did!
When I first heard of DaGeDar (which I have no idea how to pronounce by the way) I knew little about the product, but I did know that they were made by Cepia, the makers of one of my children’s favorite toys, Zhu Zhu Pets so I instantly knew they would be a hit! Before I tell you our opinion of DaGeDar, let me tell you a little more about the toys!
From the moment you pick up a DaGeDar ball, you know it's something different. Drop the ball down the track and swoosh - you are hooked. This simple game of speed and skill is like no other. Innovative, thrilling, and addicting, all you want is more DaGeDar!
In Dimension 33, there live characters called DaGeDar™.
Powered through their emotional charge, DaGeDar™ break the veil from Dimension 33, which captures the DaGeDar™ spirits into a supercharged ball form.
Each character has a distinct personality trait; different motivations drive their races. They might use elemental powers of strength, cunning or their trader’s wit in their drive for victory.
When MomSelect offered me the chance to review some of the new DaGeDar toys I couldn’t resist and when they arrived here it only took a few minutes for me to see how HUGE these toys are going to be this holiday season! We received a DaGeDar basic ball set, track set, launcher,a spinner and carrying case to review and it didn’t take long before we had the track set up, the launcher attached, and 4 kiddos ready to have some fun! And while I could sit here all day and tell you how much my kiddos love these toys (and they do) I think seeing is truly believing so I’ll let you judge for yourself!
DaGeDar Battle Balls Review
In addition to the DaGeDar ball sets there are lots of very cool accessories to make playing with the DaGeDar balls so much more fun! The Dual Top Speed Start Gate allows players to launch two balls at once with this dual launcher! Fire speeding balls at your opponent, or send them racing down the tracks for a wicked stunt. The High Speed Stunt Jump Track lets you send your balls into high gear with the looping High Speed Stunt Jump Track! Aim the starting slope to control your speed, then launch through the hoop and over the gap into the score funnel. This track is not for the faint of heart! And you definitely need to check out the Two Lane Battle Jump Raceway that can balls hurtling down a near-vertical drop and into a high-speed loop! Launch over the gap and knock away your opponent on the way to the finish gate. Serious Ballers only! With so many cool DaGeDar ball sets and accessories your child (or even you) will spend hours racing, jumping, and doing wicked awesome tricks!
I think my oldest daughter said it best when she described DaGeDar as “kinda like cars on a racetrack, but SO much cooler”. I was amazed at how well all of the kids seemed to like DaGeDar and how long the toys kept their attention. I should probably admit that I loved playing with the DaGeDar balls as much as my kiddos, I found myself becoming strangely competitive with my children as we were all playing, I mean, reviewing the toys. It’s not that often that I get so excited about my children reviewing a toy, but DaGeDar is just awesome and they agree! As a matter of fact, this is one of the few toys I can remember (besides Zhu Zhu Pets because they LOVE them) that has kept my children’s attention for more than a few days and that is NOT an easy thing to do. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that Cepia hit a home run with DaGeDar!!!
I have a feeling that DaGeDar will be at the top of lots of little boys (and little girls) holiday wish list!

Summertime is in full swing and at my house that means lots of outdoor activities! With 6 very active children at my house for the summer I am constantly looking for outside activities that they can all enjoy and given their varying ages that is not always an easy task. While the trampoline and the pool are always popular choices in the summer, there’s only so much jumping and swimming the kiddos can do before they get bored. I haven’t had to worry too much this summer about the kids getting bored, thanks to Sportcraft!

I chose the 5 Game Combo set to review because with six kids it’s never easy finding a sport or activity that they all enjoy, but this set has a little something for every one of them!

I have had other game sets like this one in the past, but this one seemed to be a little more substantial and more well-made than the ones I remember. While the kids had a blast playing with the flying disk I wanted to set up the volleyball/badminton net so that we could really get down to business and play volleyball…one of our family’s favorites! While putting the net up was a bit of a challenge, the poles are not the greatest and had a tendency to bend and bow while we were trying to get the net in place, we did eventually get the net up and it was smooth sailing from there! I can’t tell you how much fun all of us had playing volleyball, the 5 Game Combo set has been a great way to spend time together as a family being active and an awesome boredom buster. The one suggestion for improvement I have for the product would be to make the net poles more sturdy, during a pretty bad storm that we had recently the wind snapped one of our poles in half and rendered the net useless. We did easily manage to rig up a replacement pole so that the kids could continue to play and it hasn’t stopped the fun!

There’s a good possibility that your kiddos have already talked you into taking them to see Kung Fu Panda 2, I know mine have suckered me into it, and what better way to kick off an awesome summer than with Kung Fu Panda and General Mills!
Everyone in our household loves cereal, sometimes I think they could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, my kiddos also love Kung Fu Panda so they are in heaven right now since specially marked General Mills cereal contain some very cool Kung Fu Panda fighter toys!

If you’ve been reading Misadventures for any amount of time then you probably know how fond I am of shopping and shopping for clothing is the ultimate for me, make it clothes for my kiddos and I’m in heaven! 
One would assume that having three daughters would allow me certain luxuries; take for instance the ability to pick out adorable, pink, frilly clothes for them…and it so does not happen. Both of my oldest daughters are very anti-girly which I’ll admit is a bit upsetting to me, but thankfully my youngest Lil Diva is still young enough to appreciate Mommy’s fashion sense! One of my very favorite places to find the most stylish, adorable, and unique clothes for Lil Diva is My Baby Clothes Boutique! I discovered My Baby Clothes Boutique last year and have been hooked on their boutique style of fresh, fashion forward, gorgeous clothing for lil ones ever since. Recently I had the opportunity to choose something from My Baby Clothes Boutique for Lil Diva for my review and believe me when I say that choosing was the hardest part of the process! From their selection of swim suits and headbands to their too cute for words dresses it was nearly impossible to choose just one item, but I did of course and I cannot wait to share that item with all of you!
I chose the Bonnie Jean Black and White floral leggings and dress set for my review. As soon as I saw it in the online catalog I just knew that Lil Diva would look absolutely adorable wearing it…and I was absolutely right (we seriously love this dress)! Part super cute sundress, part dress and leggings set this dress set is perfect for spring, but can easily be worn separately on warmer summer days. The first time Lil Diva wore the dress I received so many, “OMG that is TOO cute!” and “Where did you get that? It’s gorgeous!” comments that I knew I had made the perfect selection. The Bonnie Jean dress has quickly become one of my Lil Diva’s favorite dresses and I honestly couldn’t be happier as I think she looks completely adorable wearing it!

Summertime is the perfect time to get outdoors and get active with the family, and for a lot of us there is a four legged member of our family that needs some love too. Our dog Brownie, whom everyone says looks more like a fox than a dog, is definitely the 9th member of our family (10th if you count Travie Trav) and summertime means more time spent in the great outdoors with Brownie! The darts are easy enough for Lil Man (3) to load into the gun by himself.
We also received the NERF WEATHER BLITZ flag football set to review, but we’ve had rain at least 4 days of of the week for the past 2 months so we haven’t had a chance to really try it out yet. The kiddos did had a flag football mini-game in our living room last week (I wouldn’t recommend this by the way) and had a blast! As soon as our yard dries up (please no more rain) we will be taking to the backyard for a family flag football game and I will definitely share pictures and all of the details with all of you when that happens!

Spring cleaning may not be the most fun activity, but it is a necessary evil, and one that ALL of us mommies know all about! And while none of us love cleaning I’m willing to bet we all love having a clean house…and I have 2 secret weapons that help me keep a clean house that’s dust free and smells amazing! Want to know the secrets? Swiffer 360° Dusters and Mr. Clean with Febreze!!!!
I will be the first to admit that I dislike cleaning, I think we all probably do, but I also must admit that there’s nothing more satisfying for me than standing back and looking at a completely clean and great smelling house, even if it only stays that way for 10 minutes! We received Justin Bieber: Never Say Never last week, yes a few days early…my children made it a point to tell all of their friends that they received it before it hit stores, and we turned it into family movie night as we all sat down and watched together. As I mentioned earlier all of my children love Justin Beiber, even the babies know most of his songs, so it was a no brainer that they would love the movie, but I was surprised to find that I actually enjoyed the movie as well. We received Justin Bieber: Never Say Never last week, yes a few days early…my children made it a point to tell all of their friends that they received it before it hit stores, and we turned it into family movie night as we all sat down and watched together. As I mentioned earlier all of my children love Justin Beiber, even the babies know most of his songs, so it was a no brainer that they would love the movie, but I was surprised to find that I actually enjoyed the movie as well. I anticipated a movie full of concert footage and rehearsals, but the movie was so much more than that, you actually got a glimpse into how Justin Bieber got to where he is now and how at heart he is just like any other teenage boy! All four of my children took turns singing and dancing to their favorite Justin Bieber songs, and yes, I did sing along to a few, and there was a clear consensus that Justin Bieber: Never Say Never was going to be THE hottest movie of the summer!
