It’s nearly that time of year again when we all eat a little too much and overindulge more than we normally do, or probably should, but while we’re enjoying all of the cranberry sauce, red wine and cherry pie, do any of us actually stop and think about what all those yummy red foods and drink do to our teeth? I know I certainly don’t. While we may not actually be worried about the effects of those things on Thanksgiving, none of us want the aftermath (red stains on our teeth) showing up for those all important holiday cards, but no worries, I have a secret weapon again food stains that you’re definitely going to want to utilize to ensure a gorgeous, white smile in no time…Rembrandt.

Through the years I’ve been fortunate enough to review a ton of cool products from some of the brands that I’ve used and loved for years. To say that I’m always excited to work with one of my favorite brands is an understatement, I’m always thrilled and when one of the brands just happens to be Rembrandt, well that excitement is a tad bit higher than usual.
I’ve been an avid user and fan of the Rembrandt brand for years; I’ve tried a number or different whitening products by several different brands and I’ve yet to find one that even comes close to giving me the results, for the value, that Rembrandt helps me achieve. If you’re unfamiliar with the Rembrandt brand or their line of whitening products, I’d love to introduce you (and hopefully make you a lifelong fan)!

The Rembrandt brand came about when cosmetic dentist, Dr. Robert Ibsen, noticed a need for an at-home whitening product that could not only whiten his patients teeth effectively, but also help fix some of the surface scratches, when Dr. Ibsen failed to find a product on the market that did both of those things, he created Rembrandt. I mentioned above that I’ve used some of the products in the Rembrandt product line before and the Rembrandt Intense Stain toothpaste just happens to be my toothpaste of choice…all the time. I use the Rembrandt 2 Hour Whitening Kit to get my teeth gleaming white fast a couple of times a year and then I use the Rembrandt Intense Stain and Deeply White toothpastes to keep them looking healthy and white all year long. The Rembrandt Stain Dissolving Strips are new to me, but I already really like them and am very pleased with the results. Rembrandt Stain Dissolving Strips are enamel-safe and they noticeably whiten tough stains like coffee and wine in as little as 2 weeks. They are simple to use and dissolve completely in 5 – 10 minutes so you can apply and then go on with your day without having to worry about removing strips or trays—love it! In addition to how well the Rembrandt Whitening products work for me, I feel comfortable using them because they are all safe on tooth enamel and even help to restore enamel.

If you’ve been following my blog for a while then you know how much I adore the Rembrandt brand; I had the chance a couple of years ago to work with them on a review and I have been an avid Rembrandt user ever since. Not only do I love what their products do for my teeth, I think that they are one of the only whitening products that actually do what they claim to do…at least in my opinion!
With all of that said I was super excited when Rembrandt contacted me to do a review of their new Deeply White collection of products! I’ve used Rembrandt’s Intense Stain toothpaste exclusively for the past year and a half and love it so while I was excited to try another Rembrandt product I was also a little worried that I wouldn’t like it as much as the one I currently use. It turns out that I don’t like Deeply White Rembrandt that I used before—I love it!

If I’m being honest I don’t normally like the taste of toothpastes that contain peroxide, but the Deeply White products, the toothpaste especially, didn’t taste too bad! While there are so many things I like about Rembrandt Deeply White, I love how clean my teeth and mouth feel after using them! I was actually surprised at how much difference Deeply White made with the surface stains on my teeth in such a short amount of time. I smoke (yes, I know how awful it is) so I use whitening products daily and so far Rembrandt has stood head and shoulders above the rest for me!

When you’re a mommy it’s not always easy to find “me” time. Add in more than one child and the chances of you getting to the hair salon or going for a manicure are even less likely. A few weeks ago in between doing laundry and wiping runny noses I had a realization…I needed more “me” time. So that night when my fiancé got home I handed him the baby and I headed toward the bathroom for some relaxation.
The first thing I reached for was the Rembrandt 2 Hour Whitening Kit I had received earlier that week for a review, no time like the present I thought, and besides I knew I wouldn't get away with spending two hours on myself for a long time. I have to admit I had quite a few reservations about whitening my teeth with something so strong, in the past I had used whitening mouthwash that had left my teeth sensitive for almost a week…not a good thing. I decided I deserved a beautiful smile in time for our holiday pictures so I went to work.
Before I get into my experience with the product I want to tell you guys a little bit about the Rembrandt 2 Hour Whitening Kit. First and foremost Rembrandt has the only 2 hour whitening kit on the market so it it the fastest whitening treatment from Rembrandt. Rembrandt says that their 2 hour whitening treatment is clinically shown to visibly whiten teeth in practically no time but that it starts working. The 2 hour whitening kit from Rembrandt comes with COMFYTRAY applicators that mold under hot water to form to your teeth and make for an easy and comfortable application.
As I said before I was leery of whitening with a two hour kit as I was afraid it was going to make my teeth super sensitive so I proceeded with caution. The first thing I noticed was how difficult it was to get the whitening trays to mold to my teeth, even after several attempts at molding them with the hot water the trays didn’t fit as snugly as I thought they should. After spending a good ten minutes getting the trays to where I could wear them comfortable I began my whitening. The actual process was very simple, squeeze one ampoule of whitening gel into each tray, insert into mouth and wear for 20 minutes, after that you remove and rinse the trays, wait ten minutes and do it again until you have used all of the ampoules. Since my trays didn’t fit as well as they needed to I had to keep my mouth closed for most of the two hours and a couple of times my tongue made contact with the gel which was very unpleasant, but my teeth never became sensitive which I was very surprised about. When all was said and done my teeth were much whiter which honestly I was surprised by, I’ve tried other whitening products in the past with little or no success and this product actually delivered results that were visible not only to me but my family as well. In my book that makes the Rembrandt 2 Hour Whitening kit worth every penny of it’s $24.99 price tag.
