There’s nothing that makes me happier than when my house is clean and smelling fabulous and my favorite way to make my house smell amazing is by burning candles. Back in the day I was the candle queen, I had several candles for every single room of the house and they were constantly burning, but when I started having babies I opted for other methods of freshen my home and most failed miserably. Now that my kids are getting older I can finally enjoy candles the way I used to and I couldn’t be happier.
One of my favorite brands of candles—Diamond Candles—recently approached me to do a review and I just couldn’t say no, I mean, you just don’t say no to your favorite brands…right? If you’re not familiar with Diamond Candles (and I can’t imagine that being the case since they are the bomb.com) let me introduce you.

So off I went to the Diamond Candle website to choose a candle to review and when I say that choosing just one candle was hard, I mean it was nearly impossible, but in honor of summer (or what’s left of it) I chose the Island Getaway candle as it’s one of my favorites and I kind of like that it will remind me of summer even after summer is long gone. Diamond Candles has so many different scents to choose from including Floral scents, Fruity scents, Food scents, Fresh scents, Tropical Scents and scents that remind us of those most important Life Moments. My favorite candles tend to be those that bring to mind far away tropical locations so it wasn’t really a stretch for me to choose the Island Getaway candle, but I’ve smelled the Cinnamon Roll candle as well and it is one of my absolute favorite scents—and I think it’s perfect for fall. The Island Getaway candle is a blend of crisp green kiwi, crushed pineapple, and juicy peach blended with sweet grapefruit and coconut cream and it smells exactly like paradise should.
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but in my experience Diamond Candles seem to burn longer and smell better longer than other brands of candles, one of my biggest gripes when it comes to candles is that they don’t seem to hold their scent very well, but I’ve never really noticed that happening with Diamond Candles—just another of the many reasons why I love them so much. Of course, there’s another reason that Diamond Candles are so very cool, inside each and every candle there’s a ring—yes, you heard me right—a ring…who doesn’t love an excuse for a new ring?!? So why rings?
By adding a woman's best friend to candles they become great gifts, as even after the candle burns out the dazzling ring inside will last. The anticipation of each candle also makes every Diamond Candle fun as you eagerly wait to find out what ring you receive in each product.
And there you have it—I don’t know about y’all, but I can’t think of another candle brand that goes above and beyond simply to make their customers experiences so special. Since ring reveals seem to be all the rage with Diamond Candles, I thought I’d share mine with all of you, the video isn’t the greatest as I was trying to film by myself and find a great way to do it (it turns out that a great way didn’t seem to exist that night) but I wanted y’all to see what all the fuss was about.
