I don’t know about you, but summer here in my neck of the woods, has been brutal! A couple of weeks ago temperatures here were holding steady in the 100’s for nearly a week, something I can’t say that I ever remember happening here!
Given our unusually HOT summer, making sure that my kiddos are properly hydrated, has remained high atop my list of mommy duties so far this summer. Though my children will (and often do) argue that juice and soda qualify as sources of proper hydration, they know that my rule in the summer is water..and plenty of it!
Since I’m constantly buying water, my husband isn’t supposed to drink anything but water due to his unusually high susceptibility to kidney stones, it only makes sense that doing a review for a new water is a good fit for me. So naturally when I received an email asking me to try out Resource water, I said sure, why not!
Of course, I wasn’t the only one who tried Resource, a couple of the kiddos snagged a few bottles as well. Though my kids drink water often, they could really care less which brand it was or if it was bottled or from the tap, that said, they did enjoy Resource, even if it did taste a whole lot like “just regular ol water” or so says my 4 year old.
If you’re looking for a brand of bottled water who take not only their water, but their commitment to helping keep the earth happy and healthy for many years to come, very seriously and honestly it shows in their product. While I can’t say with absolute certainty that my children will become fans of water (bottled or otherwise) anytime soon, I do know that as a Mom, I can feel good about giving my children Resource bottled water, it keeps them hydrated and even boosts their electrolytes—it’s a win, win!
Now, I have an awesome surprise for one very lucky Misadventures in Baby Raising reader!

A few weeks ago we received a few samples of Resource water to try out and it didn’t take long before my samples were a distant memory. Between my husband and the kiddos, I was lucky to even get a bottle to try for myself, Resource a try and I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised. Though most people would argue that, water is water, to someone like me, that’s just not the case, so putting Resource up against my favorite brand was a little intimidating. While I do still prefer the overall taste of my usual brand of bottled water, I also really liked the Resource water, that may not seem like a big deal, but go ask my husband how seriously I take my bottled water and then you’ll understand.Of course, I wasn’t the only one who tried Resource, a couple of the kiddos snagged a few bottles as well.
