If there’s one thing I lose on a consistent basis, it’s my cell phone! The following is a conversation that takes place all too often at my house.
Me: Jamie, have you seen my phone?
Jamie: No, you lose it again? (Sadly, every one who knows me knows that I lose it at least ten times a day)
Me: Yea, can you call it?
Jamie: Yea, hang on. (Jamie dials my number)
Me: Mute the volume on the TV, hey kids be quiet and listen for my cell phone.
Several attempts at locating my phone and one full-on search and rescue mission later, my phone was found between the couch cushions, which coincidentally seems to be its favorite place to hide. With all of the running around I’ve been doing lately, spending 20 minutes looking for my phone before I can get my kiddos to baseball practice or an afterschool event is not an option.
When I received an email from PhoneFetcher about me doing a review, I instantly knew that this was a product that I had to review!
If you’ve never heard of PhoneFetcher let me tell you what it’s all about!
PhoneFetcher is an elastic bungee cord that has a clip on one end (one that is super easy to open and close I might add…nothing drives me crazier than not being able to easily open or close a clip) and something that resembles a headphone outlet. The elastic bungee is long enough to hang out of your purse to remind you when your phone isn’t attached and it makes searching around your purse for a ringing phone a thing of the past…you simply follow the elastic bungee cord from your purse to your phone. I have to tell you, I’m a little bit in love with this product!
I’ll admit, I was kind of skeptical at first, not because I didn’t believe the product did what it said, but because I thought having to take the elastic band off of the phone when it rang would become annoying enough that I didn’t want to use the product, but I’ve found that the opposite is true! Though the elastic band dangling with my phone on it was mildly annoying, the fact that I can find my phone now 8 out of 9 times, (that one time, is because I forgot to plug my PhoneFetcher into my phone and I ended up spending 10 minutes in the car looking for it when I should have been watching baseball practice) and for me that’s worth whatever little annoyances the elastic bungee creates!
If you ever find yourself spending 10 minutes every time you leave the house looking for your keys then you definitely need to try the PhoneFetcher! In addition to being incredible convenient, they are available in 8 fun colors and now even with a metallic chain! Seriously y’all…this thing saves me more time than I would have ever dreamed it would…it’s definitely worth a shot and at less than $10 it’s a total win-win!
