With that said, I must admit something right here, right now…
I don’t like ice cream…yea I know, but wait, there’s more!
While I’m at it I’m just gonna go right on ahead and admit that I don’t care too much for chocolate either.
Yep, that’s usually the kicker and the one that ‘s awarded the confused, I-must-have-grown-2-heads-cause-these-people-are-staring-at-me-like their-momma-don’t-feed-them look, yea, that one!
So, now that I’ve let the cat out of the bag, I’ll just go back to my original reason for posting…ice cream, even some chocolate ice cream!
I needed to admit the first part so that you truly understood how crazy it is that I’m about to give ice cream an awesome review…did I mention that it’s Weight Watchers ice cream? Oh yea, it’s that good!
I guess I’ll also go ahead and admit that I’m really not a diet food kind of girl, actually, that’s a big understatement, normally I detest diet food because, well, it’s just not good. So it would only make sense that an ice cream made by Weight Watchers wasn’t high on my list of must-have sweet treats…right? Well…it should be, because its pretty freakin’ awesome!
Given that I don’t like ice cream, chocolate or sweet stuff, the fact that I happen to love Weight Watchers ice cream is a little weird; call it what you want, this stuff is good!
Naturally when I was asked to do a review for some of the new Weight Watchers Ice Cream products I couldn’t say yes fast enough! So Weight Watchers sent me four of their new ice cream treats for 2012 and I can’t wait to share them with all of you!
- WW Snack Size Double Caramel Swirl Ice Cream Cones
- WW Snack Size Vanilla Fudge Swirl Ice Cream Cones
- WW Divine Triple Chocolate Dessert Bar
- WW Snack Size Cherry Cheesecake Ice Cream Sandwiches
When the Weight Watchers ice cream treats arrived at my house, my children swarmed the box and demanded to know what was inside. Of course, as soon as my kiddos found out it was ice cream they were begging to help me “review” it! I’m going to be honest, I didn’t want to share, so I began telling them that they were diet and that they wouldn’t like them, but they insisted so I gave in and let each one of my four kiddos try one of the varieties. *Note to Parents: Don’t tell your children that the ice cream is diet and they won’t like it because they will keep begging until you give them a taste and once they’ve tasted it you’ve already lost…because kids love these too!* Crap, my children loved the ice cream as much as I did, they didn’t care that it was “diet” or that it didn’t have as many calories or sugar they just wanted to eat it because it was “yummy”! Naturally it didn’t take long before everyone in the house realized how good the Weight Watchers ice cream was, so it didn’t take long before all four boxes were just a distant memory! So I did what any good mother would do; I waited until the older kids were at school, I left the babies with Travis, I went to the store and bought myself four more boxes of Weight Watchers Vanilla Fudge Swirl Ice Cream Cones and then I came home and hid them in the back of the deep freeze! All of the Weight Watchers Ice Cream that we tried were surprisingly very good, but the Vanilla Fudge Swirl cones are the absolute best…ever.
No, like seriously, I think I may be addicted!
If you’re looking for a cool treat that’s not going to ruin your diet, you should definitely try these!
All of these products hit store shelves at the end of March so if they’re not at your local grocery store yet…keep checking because they’re coming!
