This week we’re talking about being surprised with a skill that a loved one has surprised you with!
Dean surprises Sam early in the season with a sudden paternal side that emerges when the two brothers investigate a case of missing babies. What's the most surprising skill your sibling, friend, or loved one has surprised you with? Did it end up making sense given their personality?
I would definitely have to say my husband Jamie’s ability to completely ignore every single whine, cry, tattle, and temper tantrum that our children have. I mean I am pretty good at tuning out all of the whining (you kinda have to be when you have 4 kids) but he is a pro at it, sometimes the noise is deafening and he just goes right on about his business pretending not to hear a thing. I must admit it does seem to work better getting the children to stop throwing a fit than yelling does, but it sure does get annoying when he is not here. So does seeing his “skill” end up making sense given his personality? Absolutely! I cannot tell you how often hubby ignores me, so it makes all the sense in the world.
