Hey all you fans of The Big Bang Theory, it’s time to talk roommates with two of our favorite roommates from the show, Sheldon and Leonard!
Anyone who has ever had a roommate knows how much of a rollercoaster ride it can be and whether you’re rooming with friends or family it’s always an adventure! On The Big Bang Theory Sheldon and Leonard are roommates and while they are best friends they also pester each other to no end—who can forget the Roommate Agreement?
So my question to this week is: What is your most memorable roommate experience?
Hmm, that’s a hard one because I’ve honestly had some great memorable roommate experiences and some not so great, but equally memorable roommate experiences. I think I’ll keep this post upbeat and choose my very first roommate experience right out of high school with one of my best friends at the time Amy.
Amy and I moved into a one bedroom apartment shortly before graduation our senior year, it was a small apartment filled with odds and ends of furniture that our parents had given us, but to us it was the best freaking apartment ever! We had so many good times, and couple bad ones too, in our apartment that it would be nearly impossible to name the most memorable, but trust me when I say that everything we did we did it big and it made a lasting impression! I remember when we decided to pick up and move to North Carolina and we gave up our apartment only to come back from down south two weeks later with no place to live— not the smartest thing to do. It was a sad day when we had to say goodbye to our first place, but the memories that we made there will forever be part of who we are!
So I want to know if you’ve ever had a memorable roommate experience? Who was it? How was the relationship between the two of you?
