“Take a Hike” With PetArmor (+Giveaway)

Summertime is the perfect time to get outdoors and get active with the family, and for a lot of us there is a four legged member of our family that needs some love too.  Our dog Brownie, whom everyone says looks more like a fox than a dog, is definitely the 9th member of our family (10th if you count Travie Trav) and summertime means more time spent in the great outdoors with Brownie!  With beautiful, warm summer weather comes the added worry about fleas and ticks, and making sure that Brownie is fully protected from both is priority number 1 this time of year! 

Flea and tick medication can cost a boat load, but it doesn’t have to…PetArmor makes protecting your pets affordable and super easy!  Let’s take a look at how PetArmor compares to other flea and tick medication…

Why the same, for less?*

We recently had the opportunity to particpate in PetArmor’s “Take a Hike”campaign and had a blast doing it!  This past weekend the girls and I (and Lil Man) took Brownie for a hike/walk around the neighborhood (the woods near our house are full of snakes…not my idea of a great place to be) and had a blast exploring…check out some of the pictures from our “hike”

    We include our dog in outdoor activities by taking him camping and on hikes with us. We also take him for walks in town too. He is active and enjoys it. Thanks!

    We take our dog Lucky with us when we go camping at the lake.He loves to play in the water.If he thinks the kids are getting out to far he swims out and tries to herd them back to shore.

    We all love to go out on boats, so we rent a pontoon boat from early morning till noon and at first only us humans wore life preservers and jumpped off and on the boat, it was wonderful>> we have Standard Poodles and one day the girls decided they wanted to jump in and out too, a bit much with all that hair so they would get tired and we would have to help them>> so we got them life preservers>>then they liked the water so much they did not want to come in at all>> what a treat for us...

    Pippi (our australian Shepherd) is rarely left out of activities. We have a seat belt harness for her so she can travel as safely as my other children. And she takes to it just like my daughter did. Reluctantly, but very compliant. :)
