Rebelle by Daisy Cook…review and giveaway! CLOSED

Having two school age daughter’s is a challenge.  Between them lending out their toys and clothes to all of their BFF’s and them stealing all of my hand bags, which always seem to end up at their friends houses as well, I’m lucky they have anything left. 

A few weeks ago I was introduced to a company that I instantly fell in love with, Rebelle Friendship Bags by Daisy Cook.  Rebelle specializes in bags that are made to share, isn’t that just the cutest idea ever?  Rebelle founder Daisy Cook said always dreamed of being a fashion designer and when she launched Rebelle Friendship Bags she saw that dream become a reality!  Daisy has created a line of handbags and backpacks that are made to share with your BFF, an idea that this mom loves!  Perhaps the most unique thing about these bags is that each handbag is actually 2 bags.  The friendship bag is made to unzip and become two bags, hence the name Friendship Bags; one for you and one for your BFF.  If you stop and think about how many of your children’s items come up missing only to find out months later they lent them out to their friends then you’ll quickly realize how genius this idea truly is.

We were sent the Rebelle Butterfly Bag to review.  I was immediately pleased to see that what looked like one regular size handbag unzipped making two equally adorable bags…two daughters, two bags…perfection.  While I am positive it is the design that had my girlies at hello for me it was the quality of the bags that got my attention…and in my opinion they were far superior to anything you can buy for kids at WalMart or Target.  My favorite thing about the bags though is that they are meant to be shared with your friends.  The bags come in a variety of fresh designs and colors so there is definitely something to fit every personality and style. 

Something else that sets Rebelle apart from its competition is its interactive website for girls: www.friendshipbags.com.  Accompanying each Friendship Bag is a registration card with a unique code that allows each Friendship Bag recipient to register their bags and join the Rebelle Girlz Friendship Club online.   The website allows the girls to interact with other Friendship Bag owners as well as the Rebelle Girlz in a safe, fun, super interactive environment.  Another very cool aspect of the website is the ability for members to upload their own fashion designs (with some of the designs being put into production in the near future) and create their own member portfolios.  My girls love finding new websites where they can express their creativity and this one is no exception.  Overall I am very impressed with Rebelle Friendship Bags and think they would make an amazing gift for any young girl, tween, or teen with a passion for fashion!
