By all accounts my fiancé is a tough guy. From his stocky build and the way he walks to his many intimidating tattoos. Then there is the issue of his clothing; sometimes he reminds me of a woman taking hours getting ready and making certain that he looks his best from head to toe. I guess I should thank my lucky stars that he takes that much pride in his appearance, but I would be lying if I said it wasn’t mildly annoying.
As much as his primping annoys me I do have to admit that he always looks great. He has a personal style that I can only describe as tough-guy chic. He has a preference for clothing with skulls and swords and tough guy “stuff” and I must admit that I find it very sexy. My mans latest fashion must have is MMA apparel. For those of you who don’t know MMA stands for mixed marshal arts and it’s as rough and tumble as it sounds, but equally intriguing and quite sexy. Without a doubt one of his favorite websites (where he drools over the MMA clothing longingly) is Silver Star Casting Co. The other day he called me into the computer room and demanded I look at all of the t-shirts and hoodies that were now at the top of his Christmas list. So I sat there pretending to be interested as he oohed and aahed and then I saw the MMA shirts for women and I knew instantly why he was hooked. The women’s selection at Silver Star had me at hello…think biker chick meets OC housewife chic.
Anyone that’s been reading my blog for a while knows how much I adore skulls and I would be lying if I told you that I didn’t make sure to point out a few of my favorite t-shirts while we were browsing the website! So honey if you’re reading this I think Santa may want to bring me the pink t-shirt in a medium…wink wink!
