Do you have a child who exhibits artistic ability?  Do your children love to draw, paint, and be creative?  Well if the answer to any of those questions is YES I have something that I am very excited to share with all of you! 

All of my children love art; they love drawing, painting, and being creative in every way imaginable. I am constantly looking for ways to encourage that love and inspire them to be creative!  So when I was asked to review the website HenkelHelps.com I was more than excited!  In case you’re not familiar with Henkel here’s a little information from the site!

HenkelHelps.com is a hosting an online art contest where children ages 2 thru 18 can go to submit their artistic visions for making the world an easier, better, and more beautiful place to live!  Each child is invited to create an original artwork based on the following criteria (making the world easier, better, and more beautiful).  The artwork should be created on paper that is 8.5” x 11” and  may include an optional caption of up to 150 characters.  Parents can then take a photograph or scan the finished artwork into the computer (you need to register on the site and upload the photograph as a jpg), artwork can be uploaded from August 2nd thru September 13th.  Celebrity Judges including  Romero Britto and Fancy Nancy author Jane O’Connor will select 25 finalists from each of the four age groups (ages 2-5, ages 6-9, ages 10-13, and ages 14-18).  From September 17th through September 30th online voters (this means YOU) will select their favorite pieces of artwork while the judges select their favorites from the finalists!  Voter’s Choice Winners in each bracket will receive $500 for art supplies.  Celebrity Judges will then award four Grand Prize Winners with $1000 and a trip to New York City November 4th-7th to see their artwork on display! All winners will be announced October 8th!
