It’s time for another Blogger Bingo task! If you have no clue what Blogger Bingo is head on over to MomDot.com to find out more!
Task is: Do a post on what you wanted to be when you grew up and what you actually are now!
When I was a little girl I always wanted to be a singer! I remember being 7 years old and having a Michael Jackson microphone; I would take all of my dolls and line then up on my bed and sing to them for hours! I remember my mom yelling at me constantly to “Shut Up” because all I ever did was SING…LOUDLY!
Over the years I lost my passion for singing, it wasn’t that I was bad at it…I was actually pretty good…I just had (and still do) horrible stage fright. I could never seem to sing in front of people and for someone who wanted to be a singer that would just not do!
Today I’m a Mommy! Some people may smirk at that and be sure to mention that Mom is not a job title, but I disagree! Since my days of longing to be a singer I haven’t been happier! Sure I’m in college and one of these days I will rejoin the workforce, but until then being “Mommy” is all I need!
In my opinion, being a Mommy is one of the most important jobs out there! I appreciate the time my wife spends with our son at home every day!!
ReplyDeleteMommy is a good title :)! Plus you rock! Muah
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel a little guilty that I'm "only" a mom but then I think of all the memories I'm making with my boys by being with them all day--I wouldn't trade it for anything!
ReplyDeleteHow cute My little girl goes around singing ALL the time. I agree Being a mom is A full time job but so worth it!
