Today is Day 1o in our Fun in the Sun summer blog party and boy has time flown by! I know I said that we only had 11 days but I lied...don't be upset with me that means 2 more great giveaways instead of 1!As I mentioned in an earlier post all of my children require sunglasses in the summer, notice I said require because getting them is not an option. While it's fairly easy to go to Wal Mart (sorry I detest this place but it's just about the only place to shop around here) and find sunglasses to fit the older kids I seem to have a very hard time finding sunglasses to fit my son and youngest daughter. The sunglasses I have purchased for my littlest ones in the past have either been too big, too small, or impossible to keep on their face.
While researching companies for the Fun in the Sun event I happened across another blog that was doing a review for Baby Banz so I went to the website and checked it out...I am so glad that I did. Baby Banz started in 2001 in Australia (known as one of the harshest climates in the world) they were introduced in America in 2002. The Baby Banz sunglasses are known for their unique wrap around banded design which allow for very little exposure to dangerous UV rays. In addition to the their sunglasses Baby Banz also offers an array of other UV protective products include sun hats, swimwear and flap hats, Ski Banz, and Retro Banz.
My son received the original Kidz Banz (designed for children age 2-5) in Nordic Camo to review. I was immediately impressed with how sporty and fun the Kidz Banz were, my son of course loved them almost instantly and looked so darn cute walking around with them on his little face. I was very pleased with the fact that the lenses in the Kidz Banz offer 100% UVA and UVB protection sun safety is always first and foremost in my mommy mind. I also very much appreciated the fact that there is a strap around the sunglasses that keeps the Kidz Banz in place, this is something that the glasses in the store just do not have. While it did take Gaige a little while to get used to wearing the Kidz Banz (purely because of the elastic strap) once we had them adjusted perfectly he didn't want to take them off. I love the fact that the Kidz Banz offer him a tremendous amount of sun protection for his delicate eyes and Gaige loves that he's wearing sunglasses...it's a win-win!

Today's giveaway is for the Trendy Tadpole the coolest, hippest place to get the cutest t-shirts you've ever seen! Here is the original review I did for them.

When it comes to clothing I do not always dress how you would expect a mom of four to dress. I love fun, funky clothes that make me smile. When it comes to the clothing I dress my children in I tend to go for the same fun, fresh styles that I choose for myself.
When I found the Trendy Tadpole I fell in love with their t-shirt designs. The Trendy Tadpole offers hip, funny onesies and t-shirts for only the trendiest of tots! Their designs range from funny to seriously charming so you are guaranteed to find something to fit every personality! They have so many cute designs that you'll have a hard time choosing just one. You can also choose which style and color of shirt with most deigns.

My son received the "King of the Playground" t-shirt to review and I must say that he definitely had a edge on the competition with his adorable shirt! The t-shirt was so soft and very well made and the design on the front was done exceptionally! The first time he wore his shirt was on a visit to the gorcery store and I can't even count how many times people came up to me and commented on how adorable his shirt was and asked where I got it from!
Those shirts are the cutest huh?
Buy it!!! You can purchase all of the adorable styles pictured above and many more at TrendyTadpole.com
Now the ultra hip people at Tendy Tadpole are offering one of my fabulous readers an awesome shirt of their own...can you say "That rocks!" One winner will receive any 1 shirt from the Trendy Tadpole website!

I can't believe it's already Day 7 in our Fun in the Sun Summer blog party. I hope you've had a chance to check out all of the great giveaways here and over at Running Away? I'll Help you Pack. I thought we would mix it up a little bit today and just do a review and get back to the giveaways on Monday! My son lives to play outside, every morning when he wakes up he walks to the gate by the front door and says, "Outside Mommy!" Since summertime here in Ohio is nothing if not scorching I always worry that my kids will get too hot while they play outside. Finding toys that are fun and will keep my babies cool on a sweltering summer day is a must for me.
I have always been a big fan of Step 2 and their great children's products, they are one of my go to brands. The Step 2 family of products offer affordability, great craftsmanship, and loads of fun. The Step 2 product that my family received to review was the Arctic Splash Water Table and let me just say that my son was thrilled when it arrived at our house and even more thrilled when we put it together and filled it with water for the first time. The Arctic Splash water table was very easy to put together my fiance spent maybe 5 minutes total putting the water table together. Some of the features of the Arctic Splash water table include:

- Multi-level water wells.
- Raised design which keeps your kiddos feet dry.
- Includes an ice castle, ice slide, tunnel, and dumping bucket.
- Very cute animal squirt toys (a penguin, a walrus, and a polar bear).
Gaige asks me every day to "Pay table" which when translated means "Mom I wanna play with my water table." He could spend hours splashing and playing with the dumping bucket and so could my other children as all four of them have splashed around on the table a time or two. There was one thing that I wished was a little different about the Arctic Splash water table and that is that the Ice Castle, while adorable and lots of fun to play with, it does not hook on to the water table which means that my son spent more time knocking it over than he actually did playing with it. Overall the Arctic Splash water table is an excellent summertime toy perfect for kids of all ages!
Gaige and two of his cousins playing with the Arctic Splash Water Table.
To find the Arctic Splash Water Table and lots of other great outdoor toys visit Step2.com!
Today is Day 6 of our 11 days of Fabulous Giveaways. I hope you've had a chance to check out all of my other giveaways as well as my friend Alexis' giveaways!Today's giveaway is for all of the girlies out there! I don't know about you guys but as soon as I had my first daughter I wanted to paint her toes...I refrained from doing so because of the smell and all of the chemicals in the nail polish but I could just see her cute little toes adorned with pretty polish. As Taylor (my oldest daughter) got older she begged and pleaded with me to let her paint her toenails and my answer was always the same..."NO" it was only a couple of years ago that I finally gave in and let her paint her fingernails and toenails. That in itself created a problem as Savanna (my middle daughter) begged and pleaded for me to paint hers as well. I was always disappointed that I could never paint their nails but I had no idea what to do about it.
I saw a review for Piggy Paint a few months ago on another blog and fell in love with it's "natural as mud" slogan. When I decided to do our Fun in the Sun blog party I knew that I wanted to include Piggy Paint because what little girl doesn't want to have pretty piggies in the summertime. Here is a little background on Piggy Paint. Piggy Paint was born when one stay-at-home-mom while painting her little ones piggies noticed that the nail polish that had dripped on a foam plate had eaten a whole through it. After that Piggy Paint an all natural water- based nail polish was born! Piggy Paint is a non-toxic, odorless, and kid-friendly version of tradition nail polish. Piggy Paint comes in a rainbow of colors including Girls Rule, Ice Cream Dream, and Angel Kisses...what little girl could resist colors that sweet?

We received a bottle of Piggy Paint (in Dandelion Dance) and a bottle of nail polish remover to review. I was really curious about whether or not the polish and the remover would actually smell, the smell of nail polish is a huge migraine trigger for me, and I was completely shocked and very happy to discover that there was very little smell at all. For the first time ever I painted my girls toenails without getting a horrible headache. The best thing about Piggy Paint was the fact that I could paint Kinley's toenails and not worry about her breathing in the toxic fumes or putting her toes in her mouth after I painted them. Overall I was very impressed with Piggy Paint; there was very little smell, the paint dried quickly, looked gorgeous, and came off without effort using the Piggy Paint remover.
Buy it!!! You can purchase Piggy Paint online at PiggyPaint.com and at select retailers nationwide. So here it is Day 5 in our 11 Days of awesome giveaways...has it been 5 days already? I hope you are all enjoying the great giveaways that we've had for you so far and I really hope that you've been visiting my girl Alexis' blog to check out what great giveaways she has going on!
As most of you know I have four children, two of the four are under the age of 2 and that sometimes makes things interesting to say the least! One of the biggest challenges I face when I have all four children is being able to handle (logistically of course...I'm a SAHM I can handle anything) taking all four children somewhere by myself. Both of my oldest daughter's are very active in school activities and sports and while I love being able to attend their different events trying to do so with two babies is not always easy. On the off chance that I drag both of the babies with me to a sporting event I am always stressed out and can never enjoy the game because I'm either fighting with a baby that would rather be crawling around or running after a screaming toddler. Needless to say I am always looking for solutions to this problem and my solution came when I found a great product called PopATot!
The idea for the PopATot was conceived on a camping trip with a wiggly baby who didn't want to be strapped into a stroller or held on Mommy's hip. The inventors of the PopATot wanted to design a product that could be portable, safely contain a child, and offer lots of freedom, fun, and independence and so the PopATot was born! The PopATot is a highly portable activity center for babies that can easily be used inside or out and is convenient and ideal for a number of different settings and activities. The PopATot is designed in much the same way as the fold up chairs we all take to baseball and soccer games and is definitely a life saver for on the go parents!
When we received the PopATot to review I was so excited and it didn't take long before we were able to test it out. The first time we used the PopATot was on a family fishing trip. Normally I take a big blanket and lay it out on the ground for my daughter (she's 7 months) to play on but she usually crawls right off and into the grass which I do not like. First let me say that the PopATot is so simple to set up, it literally pops right into place and snaps to lock in seconds which you can see in the video below!
Now excuse the shirt (which looks a little freaky on camera), and how bad I look (hey I had 4 kids screaming at me in the background) I just wanted you to see how easy and convenient the PopATot really is! I've used the PopATot several times; at softball games, family cookouts, and fishing trips so it really is a great product to have when you have a baby who doesn't want to be strapped in a stroller all day. The only thing about the PopATot that I wish was different is the fact that the bottom of the structure is not adjustable (you can not move it up or down to allow for children of different heights) my daughter is very short for her 7 months and I had to place a folded blanket in the bottom of the PopATot so that Kinley's feet wouldn't be left dangling. Overall I think that the PopATot is a genius idea! I love the idea of having a highly portable activity center that I can take anywhere!
Buy it!!! You can purchase the PopATot on there website here.
Now the super nice people at PopATot are offering one of my great readers their very own PopATot...how cool is that?!!
Win it!!!

Today is day 4 in our Fun in the Sun summer blog party! After you check out today's giveaway make sure you go on over to my girl Alexis' blog and check out all of her great giveaways! Now on to the review!
The one thing I dislike about summer is having to buy sandals for my son, he's almost two and while he's usually pretty good at wearing tennis shoes he hates sandals. Last summer it was a battle lost trying to get him to wear flip flops and sandals were not too much easier to pull off. Needless to say I am always trying to find cute new sandals that he will actually wear, which is not an easy feat.
I've seen several reviews for See Kai Run on other blogs and I always wondered what all of the buzz was about, so when I decided to do the Fun in the Sun blog party I knew that I wanted See Kai Run to be part of the festivities since they have some of the cutest sandals ever. Here's the low down on See Kai Run. See Kai Run was born from one moms need for comfortable shoes for her son. See Kai Run and Smaller shoes offer comfortable, flexible, and hip shoes for babies and older children. All of the shoes take a classic design and give them a modern, fun, and funky edge that leave other brands in the dust! There are so many unique and fun designs that you'll have a hard time choosing just one style!
My son received the Benson sandals from the See Kai Run line to review. Now as I mentioned before getting my son to wear sandals has been challenging to say the least so I was a little skeptical about him actually wearing them. The first time I put the sandals on him he was a little hesitant about wearing them but quickly warmed up the idea of having something other than tennis shoes on his feet. The sandals are very stylish and extremely flexible that it's really no wonder he didn't have a problem wearing them. The leather is exceptional and the inside of the shoes were so soft (I find that most children's shoes, especially sandals, are very rough on the inside but that was not the case with the Benson sandals) and the best part is that Gaige actually likes wearing the shows which blows me away!
My lil man wearing his Benson sandals from See Kai Run.

Buy it!!! You can purchase See Kai Run and Smaller shoes online at SeeKaiRun.com and at boutiques and retailers nationwide.
Now the great people at See Kai Run have offered a pair of shoes in their choice of style (from the See Kai Run or Smaller lines) to one of my readers...you know you like that!
Win it!!!

It's day 3 of our "Fun in the Sun" Summer Bash. I hope you've had a chance to check out day 1 and day 2 and also my girl Alexis' giveaways!Today's giveaway is for the tweens and teens! My oldest daughter is closer than I'm comfortable with to becoming a teenager and the number one issue we seem to get into the most arguments about is her personal hygiene. It's not that she doesn't want to take a shower or any of that, it's that she doesn't always wash her hair as well as I would like which usually means greasy, dirty looking hair that doesn't smell too nice! The most frustrating part is that there are no hair care products for tweens in my local store which means she is using my shampoo or baby shampoo and neither are designed for her specific hair care needs.
About a month ago I found out about Totally Texty shampoo and conditioner which is made specially for teens and tweens. When I had the opportunity to review both the girls and boys version
s of Totally Texty I was very excited since I have 2 smelly haired tweens running around my house this summer! First let me give you the 411 (I had to do that) on Totally Texty! Totally Texty is a haircare product line that was developed specifically with teens and tweens in mind. Totally Texty is paraben free, sodium laurel/laureth sulfate free, DEA/TEA free, and Kathon CG free which makes the decision to use it on your children so much easier! Totally Texty is also super concentrated so a little bit goes a long way! The most unique thing about Totally Texty is the fact that it's geared to the way teens and tweens communicate the bottles are also shaped to look like cell phones which make the products so cute! The Totally Texty shampoos and conditioners are named using texting terms like "YTMN" (you're the man now for boys) and "DDG" (drop dead gorgeous for girls) which I think is absolutely genius! We received both the YTMN shampoo and the DDG shampoo and conditioner to review. Of course my daughter got very excited when she saw the shampoo and conditioner (yes she got excited about shampoo) because she knew that it was something made just for her! I have to admit that I was skeptical about how well the shampoo and conditioner would actually work but as soon as she finished blow drying her hair after her shower I knew that my reservations were unfounded...Totally Texty worked great! Taylor's hair was soft and manageable and not at all greasy looking, which I was absolutely thrilled about! And while the YTMN shampoo is for my step-son I use it on Gaige (who is almost 2) every night he comes out with great smelling hair that is soft and looks great! My favorite thing about Totally Texty is the fact that it makes the kids hair smell great!
Buy it!!! You can purchase all of the Totally Texty Products online at TotallyTexty.com.
Now with summer in full swing and smelly hair in it's prime how would you like to try out some of the Totally Texty products? The amazing ladies at Totally Texty are giving one of my readers their choice of either the YTMN (boys shampoo) or the DDG (girls shampoo and conditioner)! Can you say heck yeah!

So it's day 2 of our Fun in the Sun Summer Blog party! Yesterday was the Julbo USA giveaway so if you missed it make sure you check it out...their glasses are awesome!
In case you've missed it I have a son and my son is such a manly little boy! I swear he walks with a strut and insists on wearing a hat like his dad, and don't even get me started on his toys; his favorite at the moment is his tool set. Since I do try to be more conscious about the environment I am always on the lookout for products for my children that are eco-friendly and when I came across Green Toys I became a huge fan of their toys!
Green Toys makes a great line of classic children's toys constructed of recycled plastic milk jugs and other environmentally friendly materials. The mission of green toys is to provide environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional plastic toys while doing their
part to preserve the earth! Green Toys are not only made environmentally friendly they are also made to be so much more safe for our children than traditional plastic toys (no BPA, phthalates, or lead to worry about). Green Toys are also packaged in recycled (and recyclable) corrugated cardboard. Some of the toys in their line include a tea set, indoor gardening kit, recycling truck, sand play set, and jump ropes to name a few.We received the Green Toys Tool Set for review and I have to admit I was impressed with it before I ever took it our of the package! First of all I have to say that this tool set is hands down the best made plastic tool set I have ever seen! I have been looking for a tool set for my son for months now and the tool sets that I've seen are cheaply made, easily broken, and pale in comparison to Green Toys Tool Set...seriously this set was impeccable! The tools are all constructed of one piece of plastic making breaking them nearly impossible, and they are also solid which makes a huge difference in the longevity of a product, especially a child's toy! The Tool Set is a 15 piece set that includes a tool box, 2 screwdrivers, hammer, saw, pliers, 2 two-hole connectors, wrench, 2 nails, 2 bolts, and 2 nuts!
Buy it!!! Green Toys can be purchased from a variety of online retailers as well as certain retail stores.
The amazing people at Green Toys are offering one of my great readers their very own Tool Set (just like the one Gaige received to review)...can you say awesome?
Win it!!! To be entered into this giveaway please go over to Green Toys and come back and leave a comment on this post telling me which toy is your favorite! This is mandatory and must be done before any extra entries count!

Alright you guys I am so excited to finally say that the "Fun in the Sun" Blog Party is officially in full swing! Make sure you stop over at Running Away? I'll Help you Pack and check out her giveaway today! When it starts to get warm outside my children have a list of essentials that they require for summer.
Now this list is not optional it is required for optimal summer fun (at least that's the line my kids give me). Every single summer I scour the stores looking for the coolest summer essentials only to have my feelings hurt (especially by Savanna) when I'm told and I quote, "MOM what are these?" This summer I decided that I was going to find the trendiest, most awesome summer essentials ever and I started my quest looking for the perfect sunglasses to protect my picky ones eyes and I found the holy grail of eye wear...Julbo USA. Julbo USA offers glasses for all members of the family from Dad all the way to the smallest member!
Julbo USA is a 120-year-old company that has been at the forefront of the optical and action sports equipment field for years. With it's headquarters high in the Jura Mountains of France three generations have worked to ensure that their products more than meet the needs of action sports athletes big and small. Their glasses are stylish and comfortable while also offering some of the best UV protection around, what mom doesn't love that? Julbo USA has a large selection of stylish and comfortable glasses in a wide array of styles and colors.
We were given the chance to review a pair of Next sunglasses from Julbo USA. The glasses were perfect for my middle daughter Savanna (and she was instantly in love with the stylish little beauties as soon as she saw them). The Next design worked to envelope her eyes making the chance of dangerous UV damage far less, the glasses were also super comfortable and flexible (which is great if you have a child that is accident prone). Overall we loved the glasses; both the design and color were impeccable and my daughter knew that she was the most stylish 7 year old on the playground when she was sporting her Next sunglasses by Julbo USA.

Buy it! You can purchase Julbo USA sunglasses at Julbo's Website and at a variety of online retailers.
Win it! The amazing people at Julbo USA has offered not one, but 3 of my readers some of their amazing sunglasses! How incredible is that? One winner will receive the Kitty style, one winner will receive the Bowl style, and one will receive the Looping 1 style! Can you say awesome!

Organization is something that I fear, seriously I am terrible at it! Try as I might (and Lord knows I do try)I can never seem to get and stay organized. Having four children demands that I be somewhat organized so I've made it my mission this summer to get more organized! One of the biggest issues is all of the stuff my children accumulate. No matter how organized I try to get them to be they never seem to take an active interest in keeping their "stuff" neat.
I have always been a huge fan of Command hooks, they are a renters dream! So when I was asked to review Command's new Disney- Themed hooks I was quick to say yes! I knew that this would be the perfect opportunity to "try" and get my kids to be excited about organization!
First let me give you a little information about 3M and Command hooks. 3M Command offers a huge line of mounting products that include; clips, hooks, picture hangers, and many other organization products. The most unique thing about Command hooks is the stretch release technology that allows for a strong hold with no damage when they are removed! The 3M Disney-themed command hooks provide a fun and stylish way for your kids to get and stay organized and they come emblazoned with your kids favorite Disney characters; Hannah Montana, Cars, Disney Pricess, Disney Fairies, and Camp Rock!
As soon as my gift basket arrived (yes 3M sent me the nicest gift basket ever full of Command Hooks) I knew that I had to get serious about my organization project. The first place I started was in my sons room and since his room is already decked out with Cars I thought it was the perfect place to install some of the Cars hooks.
My sons backpack before Command Hooks (if you notice it's help in place by a thumb tack).
And after...if you ask me the puppy looks a little happier with the Cars hook!

I have to admit that using the 3M Command hooks did make organizing a lot nicer to look at! The new Disney-themed Command hooks are available at mass merchandisers, drug, and craft stores nationwide and retail for between $4.97 and $10.97.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when both of my oldest girls throw their purses, backpacks, and beach bags all over the floor...or worse on their door knobs.
