When I became a mom I gave up a lot; my crazy, wild, party days, my freedom, and my love of jewelry. As soon as my first child was born it became nearly impossible to wear any type of jewelry without having it ripped out or pulled off, so except for my rings and earrings every once in a while I stopped wearing jewelry. Now that my youngest child is old enough to know better than to pull off my necklace or chew on my bracelet I’ve started wearing them more and I couldn’t be happier about it.

As I already mentioned I recently had the chance to work with CoppinsGifts.com on a review, for my review I was able to choose a bracelet adorned with the ultra trendy Davinci beads (Coppin’s version of the popular Pandora beads, but much less expensive…Coppin’s version go for $6.99 each) but I decided that I wanted something a little more personal and went for charms for to represent each of my children. I love jewelry, and I love finding and sharing companies with all of you that I adore, including Calypso Studios!
I actually discovered Calypso Studios a while back, but only recently had the chance to work with them. In case you aren’t familiar with Calypso Studios allow me to introduce you…

I was actually surprised at the selection from Calypso Studios, they literally have every item of jewelry you could want or need; Necklaces, bracelets, rings, chokers, and SO much more. There’s no way I could have chosen one item to review because everything is just so gorgeous and eye catching—thank goodness I didn’t have to pick just one item!
A couple of weeks ago Calypso Studios sent me a few pieces of their gorgeous jewelry to review…and I was in heaven! I received pieces from a few of their many lines including the Carnival and It’s a Wrap lines. While I loved all of the pieces I definitely had my favorites; I completely adore the It’s a Wrap bracelet I received and bonus it can also double as a cute headband…my daughter rocked this look to perfection! My absolute favorite piece of jewelry from Calypso Studios is without a doubt the Phoenix Red Sundance multi-strand necklace (pictured above)…simply stunning and so fierce! I don’t usually wear necklaces, mainly because my children like to play, “let’s pull the necklace off mommy’s neck” game when I do, but this one I have wore so many times and I receive a ton of compliments every time that I do. From gorgeous sea glass bangles to their beautiful and functional S.H.O.P Totes, Calypso Studios knows fabulous and so can you!
From the amazing colors to the elegant simplicity of Calypso Studio’s many pieces it’s very easy to fall in love with what Calypso Studios does!

Hey y’all! I’m back with Day 6 of Tickle Her Pink—I hope you’ve found some great gift ideas for Valentine’s Day and I encourage you all to enter all of the great giveaways (there’s a link list in my sidebar for easy access).
I’ve mentioned in previous posts my love of jewelry, I especially love finding unique custom jewelry that has is personal and special. When I decided to host a Valentine’s Day gift guide I knew that I wanted to include jewelry, because well it just wouldn’t have been a very good gift guide without bling! So when I was approached by Magpie Designz to do a review and giveaway it was the perfect fit.

I chose this necklace because of the saying inscribed on it--“To the Moon and Back”, that’s what I say to my kids when they ask me how much I love them, so this necklace was absolutely perfect for me. I love the worn, weathered look of this necklace and the freshwater pearl hanging from the middle (which represents the moon) is a wonderful touch. Magpie Designz has so many unique pieces of jewelry in their collection and the majority of it can be customized which makes Magpie Designz a great idea for a gift this Valentines Day!

I received the Brilliant CZ Cross Pendent to review. I have to be honest and tell you that I was skeptical about wearing CZ, but when I saw the necklace for the first time all of that doubt was put to rest because it was stunning. I have always loved jewelry. When I was a little girl I remember sneaking into my mother’s jewelry box and admiring her pearls. Of all of the jewelry in that box her pearls were (and still are) my favorite!
