Don’t let the name fool you, Sporty Spice, is a fashionista at heart!  Not only does she know what’s hot (and what’s not) in fashion at any given moment,  she knows how to put pieces together and make them work, no matter how crazy they seem, like no body’s business. I have to admit, I’m simultaneously shocked and impressed that my child is as fashion forward as she is considering she’d rather shoot hoops with the boys than paint her nails and do her hair with the girls most of the time.  Since Sporty Spice is so into fashion, I thought she’d be the perfect child to help me review a few pieces from the GUESS Kids Spring 2013 line.

Before we get into the specific pieces that SS helped me review, I want to talk a little about the GUESS Kids Spring 2013 line, which features none other than iconic GUESS model Anna Nicole Smith’s little darling Dannielynn Birkhead!  Also in the campaign is Peyton Edmonds, daughter of music legend Babyface. The GUESS kids images were shot on the beach in Malibu by Elliston Lutz and directed by Paul Marciano, Creative Director at GUESS? Inc. and depicts the same sense of wonder and fun that is embodied by the GUESS kids brand.

I’ve always been a huge fan of GUESS, I mean, growing up in the 90’s, when models like Anna Nicole Smith donned her GUESS jeans, made it really easy for me to love the brand.  My love of GUESS has continued into adulthood and when I had kids, it only seemed natural for me to dress my kids in GUESS as well.  That said, I was pretty excited to check out a couple of pieces from the GUESS Kids Spring 2013 collection and so was Sporty Spice!  Never one to miss an opportunity to model some cute clothes, Sporty Spice couldn’t wait to take a few pictures in the name of fashion, you can check out Sporty Spice and two completely adorable pieces from the spring 2013 line below.
