Polly Pocket Playtime Pet Shop {Lil Diva Loves It!}

You may have seen my post a couple of weeks back about Polly Pocket and how Lil Diva has discovered a new toy that she adores, well I have another pretty cool Polly Pocket play set to tell you all about!

A couple of weeks ago Lil Diva received another Polly Pocket shipment, this time the shipment contained a Polly Pocket Playtime Pet Shop Play Set and a Polly Pocket DVD.  Needless to say, Lil Diva wasted no time tearing the play set out of the box and playing with all of the “super cute” (the child’s been around me too long) animals and pieces of the Playtime Pet Shop Play Set.  Since the play set did require a little assembling so I popped in the Polly Pocket DVD for Lil Diva to watch while I figured everything out.  While I was concentrating on getting all of the Playtime Pet Shop pieces free and ready to play with, I did also definitely notice how much attention Lil Diva paid to the Polly Pocket DVD, if you know Lil Diva then you know how rare it is for her to sit still for more than a few minutes, so it was definitely a refreshing change.

Once the Polly Pocket DVD was over and I had successfully assembled the play set Lil Diva was ready to get to work playing with one of her new favorite toys—did I mention that she calls it “Polly Locket”?  Too cute.  As I mentioned in my last post, Polly Pocket has been a familiar name in our home for many years, first with my oldest daughters and now with Lil Diva…pretty refreshing to see a toy/brand go the distance, in my book, that means quality!  As a mom there are certain elements I look for in the toys that I choose for my children; Safety, Brand, Price, Quality.  With every toy purchase I make those attributes are ones that I look for time after time and with Polly Pocket I know that all four are met and even exceeded.  In addition to making the pieces bigger, something I really thought was a good idea when I spent hours picking up Polly Pocket pieces with my oldest daughters way back when, I love that all of the accessories come complete with suction cup bottoms now—definitely a major plus in my book. 

Aside from the fact that I do love the Polly Pocket brand, I also appreciate that Lil Diva loves the toys as much as I do—I mean, from a mom’s perspective of course.  Honestly, it doesn’t matter if I think a new children’s product is the best thing since sliced bread, if my children don’t also share that enthusiasm then I instantly know that it’s a product that’s not for them—thankfully all of my girls agree that Polly Pocket is here to stay and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
