I’ve mentioned before how brand loyal I am when it comes to certain products that I use, laundry detergent, tooth paste and even my choice of mascara is almost always brand specific, but my choice of shampoo is never tampered with.

I’ve been a loyal fan of a certain herbal shampoo and condition for several years, so trying to get me to try and then love a new hair care duo was very unlikely.  As with most things in my life, I had found something that I loved in a shampoo and conditioner so to me, there was no real reason to look further—that’s definitely not the way it works (in shampoo or in life).  Naturaaussie-productslly, when I was asked to review a new shampoo and conditioner, I was hesitant, I mean I didn’t think any other shampoo and conditioner could make me switch brands—that’s until I tried Aussie.

Now I know you’re thinking, oh great, not another overly praising, fake, “I loved it!” post—I totally get that, heck, if I weren’t the one writing it I would probably think it too, but this happens to be a case where I tried a product fully expecting to not be impressed with its performance and then completely fell in love with said product—yes, seriously, I found a new shampoo for life!

It had been years, and I do mean literally years…(I was probably 18—my mom bought Aussie religiously and to my knowledge still does) since I had tried an Aussie product and while I remember not hating it back then, I can’t honestly remember loving it either.  For the sake of this review I decided to give the Aussie shampoo and conditioner a try, but first I had to find my Aussie Perfect Match!  Since I hadn’t tried Aussie products in so long, I needed a little help deciding which Aussie shampoo and conditioner were right for me, Aussie celebrity stylist Sarah Potempa’s guide to helping choose the right hair care duo was a huge help.

After looking over my hair care needs, I settled on Confidently Clean and You Can Shine as my Aussie Perfect Match.  When my Aussie products arrived I was actually excited to give them a try and see how they compared to my favorite brand.  My goal for this review was one week, but honestly, I noticed a huge difference in not only the texture and manageability of my hair, but also in how amazingly shiny and healthy my hair looked—I didn’t need a week, I was convinced after the first wash!

If someone had told me prior to this review that I would actually ditch my old shampoo and conditioner for the Aussie products I probably would have laughed, but I can’t change the fact that exactly that happened…I’m pretty sure that I’m now an Aussie lover for life…I’m definitely impressed!

Make sure you check out Aussie on Facebook for the latest on hair care with no worries!

Are you an Aussie fan?  If so, what’s your Aussie Perfect Match?

Disclosure:  I received the products listed above in order to facilitate my review…all opinions are my own!

  1. Although Aussie isn't exclusively the only hair product brand I use, it's one of my favorite. I like the smell of the products in particular.
