Go Back-to-School with BIC (+Giveaway)

 

If you’ve been a MIBR reader for a while then there’s a good chance that you know all about my love affair with writing utensils.  Given my love for pens and pencils I couldn’t possibly do a back-to-school event without including one of my very  stationery brands—BIC!

I had the chance recently to try out several BIC stationery products as part of our back-to-school event and I can’t wait (seriously I could talk about pens and pencils all day) to tell you all about the latest products from BIC for back-to-school—there may even be a giveaway in it for you!

 

First up is the latest product from the 4-Color family of pens from BIC—the BIC 4-Color Grip Ball Pen.

My thoughts:  I am a big fan of BIC’s 4-Color line of pens and this one did not disappoint!  The 4-Color Grip has the variety that you want from the 4-Color line with the look of a slightly more sophisticated pen—which makes it great for teachers!  I love that the pen writes beautifully in all 4 colors and that the grip makes the pen ultra comfortable to hold, even for someone like me who has severe carpal tunnel!

 

Next up we have my girl’s favorite the BIC Impressions Pencils.

 

This new mechanical pencil contains 200% more lead per pencil than the competition.  With its mini size and four different eye-catching barrel designs, the BIC Impressions Pencil is certain to appeal to students (of all ages).  Each pencil has three strong 0.7 mm number two leads and a smudge free eraser.

My thoughts:  The BIC Impressions Pencils are “so freaking cute” at least according to my 12 year old.  I love that they are smaller than the traditional lead pencil (and much more stylish) but boast more lead that their competitors—way to go BIC!

 

One item that’s sure to be on every school supply list is glue sticks and BIC has an ecofriendly version that you have to check out—BIC Ecolutions Glue Stick.

 

Perfect for school projects, BIC Ecolutions Glue sticks are a back-to-school staple that parents and kids can feel good about!  In fact, the glue stick’s dispenser is made from 100% recycled plastics!

 

The BIC Ecolutions glue stick is washable for easy clean-up and is available in an eight-gram size for a suggested retail price of $1.56.

 

My thoughts:  Glue sticks are a necessity when you have kids in the house and the BIC Ecolutions glue stick has quickly become one of my favorites!

 

What woman doesn’t want a pen designed especially for her?  Well, with the BIC for Her ball pen

we can all have a pen made just for us!

 

Going back to school for many girls means that they will be thinking about what clothing, accessories and school supplies they need to get the year off to a great start!  One item that these students will certainly have on their list is the stylish, retractable BIC for Her ball pen!

My favorite of all of the BIC products that I received to review is undoubtedly the BIC Velocity Bold (aka "Smoothest Pen in the Universe”)!

 

The BIC Velocity Bold features exclusive Easy-Glide System ink technology, which delivers a smooth writing experience, and has a 1.6 mm point for a vivid line, and a soft grip that provides long-lasting comfort while writing.

My thoughts:  I love this pen!  Once you experience this pen you will not want another!  I love how vivid the lines are and how smoothly this pen writes and I think you will too!
