One of my favorite parts of summer is the abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables, and one of my all time favorite summer offerings is corn! While I love corn on the cob, steamed corn, creamed corn—it all gets boring after a while. A few weeks ago while my mother-in-law was visiting I heard her mention Fried Corn, I had no idea what it was as I had never had it, but the other day I decided to try to make a batch with dinner. The results were fabulous!
Ingredients
2 cans of corn (or 4-6 ears of fresh corn)
butter
salt
pepper
Ingredients
2 cans of corn (or 4-6 ears of fresh corn)
butter
salt
pepper
Melt butter in the bottom of a medium sauté pan.
If using fresh corn, remove corn from ears. If using canned corn empty cans into colander and drain until liquid is gone.
After corn has drained add into sauté pan with hot butter, salt, and pepper. Sauté until corn is golden brown.
You know how Caden is in LOVE with Corn we must have it with every meal ... lol
