Every married couple deserves a date night every once in a while—right? My husband and I, though newly married, are definitely not strangers to trying to find time for a date night…alone, without kids. Unfortunately for us most of our date nights are plagued with crazy things happening that could be perfect fodder for a movie script. A movie script much like the new Date Night Movie.
Date Night, starring Steve Carell and Tina Fey, will debut in theatres April 9th, 2010 and is the hilarious story of a married couple who go out on their weekly dinner date only to find themselves in the craziest situations. Car chases, shootouts, breaking and entering, and even a showdown at a strip club with a mob boss, Date Night has a little bit of everything going on! Husband and wife come out somewhat bumped and bruised, but with a new found respect for each other and their relationship.

If that doesn’t want to make you see the movie (and kiss your husband) then I don’t know what will. At least I know now that my date night catastrophes' are nothing compared to this couple…thank goodness!
