With spring right around the corner now is the time for me to start thinking about home improvement—hey I have to get my man active some kind of way. I hate to admit it but as the long winter days drag on my man’s Honey-Do List grows even longer. I’m sure Jamie doesn’t look forward to the start of spring for no other reason that he can no longer use the cold weather as an excuse not to do the things on that list.
Even though our vinyl siding isn’t that old its still in serious need of being updated from the drab, dingy white color that it is currently…I’m thinking something green perhaps. I know that my fiancé will disagree with me on that one, but I think an update will bring some much needed pizzazz to this place! Of course, I’m sure if you asked my fiancé he would say that replacement windows were more important at the moment than new siding—but who wants new windows when they can have new siding and essentially a whole new look? I do know that after last falls wind storm our gutters are in complete and utter disarray and could definitely benefit from gutter protection as they are in desperate need of being cleaned…seriously I’m pretty sure if that cleaning doesn’t happen soon we may have several new trees this year!
So as much as I would love to see all of my Honey-Do list completed in a couple of months, I suppose I’ll just be happy with whatever improvements my fiancé decides to make and then secretly call the vinyl siding company myself. I’m quite positive that if he came home from work and our house was a different color he wouldn’t ask a single question, because that would mean he didn’t have to do it himself, and that would make him very happy!
