National Family Pajama Night: Make Your Pledge Now!

There are some companies that I love so much that anything I can do to help them out I am more than happy to do, and one such company is The Company Store! 

 

 

I love The Company Store and Company Kids, I swear I could the better part of a day looking at their websites because there are just so many things that I love, and if you’re familiar with either of these two places then you know exactly what I’m talking about!  Check this out though because The Company Store needs YOUR HELP to make a BIG donation to a super great cause!  Details are below, please take a few seconds of your time and take the pledge…together we can make a BIG difference!

 

Saturday, November 19th, 2011 is National Family Pajama Night and The Company Store needs 20,000 pledges (from families like yours simply committing to spending the evening together doing unique activities during National Family Pajama Night!  The Company Store has a pledge goal of 20,000 and when they reach it they will be donating $20,000 worth of pajamas to Pajama Program, a not-for-profit organization that provides new, warm pajamas and books to children in need throughout the U.S!  This is a GREAT cause and it only takes a few short minutes to pledge and help The Company Store give $20,000 worth of PJ’s to this amazing cause! 

 

About Pajama Program

Pajama Program, a 501 (c)3 not-for-profit organization, provides new, warm pajamas and new books to children in need in the United States, and around the world, many who are waiting and hoping to be adopted.  These are youngster who may not know the comforts of a mother or father to tuck them into a cozy bed and read them a bedtime story.  Too many have been abandoned, most deprived of any love at all.

The Company Store: Kids’ Design Contest Winners!

You may remember me posting about a design contest that one of my favorite places to shop (The Company Store) had going on a while back, if not that’s cool you can you can always click the link and check it out…I’ll wait!

 

 

Up to speed?  Good.  As I was saying The Company Store held a contest back in March looking for creative designs from children 12 and under.  The winner would get to see his or her design on a comforter sold as part of their amazing Buy One, Give One program, you can learn more about the Buy One, Give One program on The Company Store Facebook page…it’s a great cause!

 

Well, the entries have been submitted and 3 winners were chosen…you can check out the creative and inspiring work from the three young artists below! 

 

The Company Store Finds the Next Great American Artists

Kids’ Comforter Designs to Benefit Homeless Children Across the U.S.

The Company Store, celebrating their 100th anniversary, announced the three winners of their highly successful Kids’ Design Contest. A part of their Buy One, Give One Comforter Donation Program, the Design Contest was aimed at inspiring creativity among America's youth.  Voted on by Facebook fans, The Company Store will transform each of the three winning pieces of original artwork into colorful comforters that will be donated to homeless children across the U.S.

 

"What began as a creative concept to engage our loyal consumers has blossomed into a heartwarming program,” said Dennis Warner, Chief Marketing Officer of The Company Store.  "The program has far exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be more elated with the inspiring artwork from the talented pool of young artists."

 

The Company Store will create and donate 1,000 comforters in each winning design adding to the tens of thousands of comforters donated through their Buy One, Give One Comforter Donation Program to homeless children in shelters throughout the country.
