I know I've said it many times before, but this time of year is without a doubt, my absolute favorite! There are so many things that I love about fall, that I couldn't possibly name them all and thankfully, my family seems to love this time of year as much as I do! One of our favorite ways to celebrate Fall and the impending Halloween festivities, is by stocking up on our favorite scary cereals...General Mills Monster Cereals! My kids eat…a lot. And if there’s one thing they eat more of than anything else, it’s cereal. Not only do my kiddos enjoy a big ole bowl of crunchy cereal goodness every morning (and more often than not as a bedtime snack), but my husband is also a huge cereal fanatic. It seems like I’m constantly buying cereal and we’re always trying something new, like recently when we had the chance to check out Hershey’s new Cookies ‘n’ Crème cereal thanks to Hershey’s and MyBlogSpark!
I’m not a huge cereal fan, but I do love me some Hershey’s so I was interested to see what this new cookies ‘n’ crème cereal was all about, here’s the scoop (haha) on Big G and Hershey’s new breakfast offering…
Who knew yummy could also be full of so many good things for you? As I mentioned above, my children and husband love cereal and since they do love their cereal, they’re also a little picky when it comes to what they pour into their favorite cereal bowls (yes, they all do have a favorite cereal bowl). I knew that the chances of my family not liking a cereal from Hershey’s was slim to none, but I wasn’t prepared for them to like it as much as they did…they demolished the entire box by breakfast the next morning! They LOVED it! My husband, who is one of the pickiest people I know (especially when it comes to his cereal) liked it so much that he now asks for it nearly every time I go to the grocery store, I’d say that’s a success! If you’re family are big cereal eaters then I definitely suggest picking up a box (or 3) of Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Crème next time you head out to the store, they’ll be so happy that you did!

There’s a good possibility that your kiddos have already talked you into taking them to see Kung Fu Panda 2, I know mine have suckered me into it, and what better way to kick off an awesome summer than with Kung Fu Panda and General Mills!
Everyone in our household loves cereal, sometimes I think they could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, my kiddos also love Kung Fu Panda so they are in heaven right now since specially marked General Mills cereal contain some very cool Kung Fu Panda fighter toys!
Throughout the spring, spin fighter toys featuring Kung Fu Panda 2 characters including Po, Tigress, Shifu, Monkey, Lord Shen, Mantis, Crane and Viper can be found inside specially marked boxes of participating General Mills cereals: Cocoa Puffs® (11.8 oz.), Trix® (10.7 oz.), Golden Grahams® (12 oz.), Reese’s Puffs® (13 oz.), Cheerios® (14 oz.), Apple Cinnamon Cheerios® (12.9 oz.), Cookie Crisp® (11.25 oz.), Lucky Charms® (11.5 oz.), Cinnamon Toast Crunch (12.8 oz.) and Honey Nut Cheerios (12.25 oz.).
Let the games begin with one spin fighter toy in each box. Simply cut out the targets on the box and then use your spin fighter to try and knock them down. With eight character toys to collect, the Kung Fu fun can continue all summer long!
We received a Kung Fu Panda 2 prize pack containing a few of the specially marked boxes of General Mills cereal and my kids literally spent hours playing with the spin fighters inside…and I have to admit they were kinda fun to play with!
