All of my kids love to read, even Lil Man who just started reading this year is always so excited when he gets a new book from school to bring home and read to me. I suppose I have my mother’s love of books and the countless times she’s taken my kiddos to the library to thank for my children enjoying reading so much—thanks Mom! I love that my kids love to read and I also love when they’ve read books (that are also movies) and seemed to enjoy the books so much more…as with the Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise.
I remember my husband and I taking all of our kids, all 6 of them, yes, even Lil Diva, to see Diary of a Wimpy
Kid when the movie came out and how much all of them loved it. From that point on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books were in our house constantly. So when the seventh book in the Wimpy Kid series, The Third Wheel, became available for review, I couldn’t resist!
If you’re not familiar with the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series, you have no idea what you’re missing!
