Once upon a time, in a land far, far away.... Wubbzy and his friends from the hit Emmy Award®-winning Nick Jr.® TV series, “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!,” will captivate fans and fairytale lovers alike with “A Wuzzleburg Tale.” The newest release in the Wubb-loving, chart-topping collection from Anchor Bay Entertainment, the enchanting new DVD makes its valiant national retail debut, April 3, 2012.
“The ‘Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!’ DVD series continues to delight young viewers and their families with each new release,” said Erin Carter, Executive Director of Brand Marketing for Anchor Bay Entertainment. “We’re thrilled to launch the latest addition, ‘A Wuzzleburg Tale,’ which perfectly captures the essence of the popular program – with valuable life lessons for preschoolers and a ‘happily ever after!’ – in each episode.”
Throughout the six charming adventures in “A Wuzzleburg Tale,” Wubbzy and his best pals, Walden, Widget and Daizy, encounter different fairytale characters, situations and challenges that all lead to social skills-building fun! Preschoolers will travel through the Enchanted Grove with Wubbzy and Daizy as they search for a pickleberry bush for Widget in “Once Upon A Wubbzy”; solve the big mystery of why Wubbzy’s closest friends go missing on his birthday in “The Big Birthday Mystery” and try on a whole new size with Wubbzy and Daizy as they shrink themselves down with Widget’s Shrinky Dinky 3000 in “Welcome To The Dollhouse.”
Additional episodes on the DVD include: “Happily Ever After,” where Wubbzy is delighted by the fairytale of the Hopping Dipple-Dop; “Too Many Wubbzys,” when Wubbzy learns that being in two places at once can pose a problem and “Focus Wubbzy!,” in which Wubbzy learns the importance of responsibility, listening to instructions and paying attention. The new release also delivers to Wubbzy fans “wubbtastic” coloring and activity sheets and music videos that will have them singing along!

One small step for Wubbzy…one giant leap for Wuzzleburg! The countdown to fun for preschoolers begins with Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, and the launch of the brand-new DVD, “Fly Us To The Moon.” Alongside Wubbzy, Widget, Walden and Daizy, young viewers will skyrocket into outer space to help wake The Man in the Moon, prepare for a special encounter with “alien” visitors and embark on many kooky space-age adventures! “Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! Fly Us To The Moon” from Anchor Bay Entertainment lands on shelves across the nation, Tuesday, November 16, 2010.
“We are thrilled to release the latest Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! DVD, ‘Fly Us To The Moon,’ to the whole universe of Wubbzy fans from coast-to-coast,” said Erin Carter, Executive Director of Brand Marketing for Anchor Bay Entertainment. “These high-flying episodes help preschoolers learn about the wonders of space the ‘Wubbzy’ way – complete with quirky characters, silly sights and light-year’s of laughs all along the way!”
“Fly Us To The Moon” (SRP $16.98) is an action-packed collection of episodes featuring out-of-this-world special guests, including the Tooth Fairy, and larger-than-life superheroes like Captain Wonderpants and The Super Fixers. In “Warp Speed Wubbzy!,” Walden thinks he sees an approaching spaceship through his telescope and enthusiastically spreads the word that space visitors are coming! But, when Wubbzy and Widget discover that the “spaceship” is just a firefly on the lens, they fear Walden will be disappointed and decide to create their own “spaceship landing.” In the title episode, “Fly Us To The Moon,” it’s up to Wubbzy and his pals to wake up The Man in the Moon, who has fallen asleep and left Wuzzleburg in the dark. Preschoolers will embark on an unforgettable ride on Widget’s Rocket Racer, as Wubbzy tangles with space monsters, takes a journey on a runaway comet and falls into a spiral galaxy!
In addition, the new release includes episodes “Tooth or Dare,” “Wonder Wubbzy” and “The Super Fixers.” A bonus episode, “All Bottled Up,” as well as special extras such as coloring and activity sheets, music videos and special “sneak peeks” also are featured.

Thanks to all who entered!
Both of my youngest children are big fans of Nick Jr. If they’re not watching Dora or The Fresh Beat Band then Nick Jr. is providing the background music for our hectic days! Of all of the shows my children enjoy (and there are several) their favorite is Wow Wow Wubbzy! If you’ve seen the show it’s not hard to know why its such a hit at my house, it’s fun, funny, and so cute!
We were recently given the opportunity to review a new Wow Wow Wubbzy DVD, Wubbzy Goes Boo! My son and youngest daughter were playing in the living room when I put the DVD in and as soon as they heard to familiar theme song they stopped what they were doing and started dancing and singing along (yes the baby tries to sing along with her brother). Both of the babies sat down in front of the television and watched the entire DVD, the whole time laughing and singing along!
Here’s a little more about the movie:Wubbzy and his friends are back in an all-new DVD collection just in time for the fall season! Watch as Wubbzy, Widget and Walden clean up a crazy mess with Moo Moo’s magic wand, pick the perfect pumpkin and create the spookiest Halloween costume of all. There’s singing, dancing, trick or treating and kickity-kick ball too, plus plenty of positive values like creativity, patience and responsibility. It’s all here in the Emmy winning Nick Jr./Noggin hit that’s so much fun it’s scary!
