Springtime always has me thinking of new projects I can work on around the house; this year I decided that I wanted to focus a little  more on recycling since we don’t do it nearly enough.  Unfortunately, there isn’t much storage space in our house so I always have to get creative when it comes to storage of anything, since the recycling bins that our town provides are huge, they won’t easily fit in the house so I keep them in the garage and honestly that makes it a bit more inconvenient for me when it comes to recycling and ultimately I end up not recycling as much as I should.
When I found out that I would be reviewing the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler I was super excited, because the Hidden Recycler is all about allowing you to recycle while not taking up much needed space!

About the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler:

*Gets recyclables off the countertop and hidden out of sight
*Easy attaches to a cabinet door with hooks included with the project
*Convenient handle allows the bag to be easily transported to wherever your recycling is stored for pickup

*The bag has a leak-proof liner and is machine washable to make for easy cleanup after any sticky messes or spills
*Soft-sided bag allows for flexibility inside any cabinet
*The bag (and all packaging) is made from recyclable material and the product is recyclable

I had my brother-in-law Travis put the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler together for me, it was only a few screws and took no time to assemble.  When it came time to find a cabinet for the Hidden Recycler I had a little trouble finding one big enough to fit the bag and still close correctly, but we eventually settled on hanging the Recycler on one of the cabinet doors under the kitchen island where it works perfectly!

I have to admit, having the Hidden Recycler right there where I prepare food makes it so much easier for me to remember to recycle and while I am by no means a crunchy, green mom, I do like that I can do my part to help the environment in a way that is quick, easy, and mess free!  Be sure to check out all of the great recycling products online at Rubbermaid.com!
