I have to admit that it’s only day 2 of 30 Days of Truth and already I really like this…it’s forcing me to really dig deep and think about myself—that’s  something that we should all do every once in a while.
Alright so today’s question is:  Something you love about yourself?image (Photo Credit:  The Visual Dictionary)
I have to admit that this one was a little harder for me than what I hated about myself…weird I know, but true.  I tend to always see the bad in myself (something I’ve become very good at thanks to the people in my life who have forced me to see those things again and again) and have a very hard time seeing the good, so this one required a lot of soul searching.
If I had to choose one thing that I love about myself I would have to say it’s my generosity.  Sometimes that kindness is definitely one of my biggest weaknesses, but I’m slowly working on that.  I have always been the type of person to help other people out; whether that’s letting someone have 5 bucks, giving someone a ride when they don’t have a car, or even letting family members move into our house for extended periods of time.  To me being generous with others (whether or not it is reciprocated or even appreciate *cough*Brianna/Travis*cough*) is just something that comes naturally to me.  Knowing that by seeing me being generous on a daily basis; whether it’s with my time, knowledge, or finances, my children may grow up and remember that generosity and show it to others makes me feel like I have instilled something vitally important in them—and I love that!

  1. Yep that is me as well. I have taken in so many people. My mom and kids always say why do you do that when they kick you in the end. I say because they cannot say I turned them away. They will get what is coming to them for their choices but I know in mine I did the right thing..
