Tummy Stuffers Fun and Functional!

If you have little ones at home, then chances are pretty good that you've seen the commercial for Tummy Stuffers once or twice (or a million and three times) and chances are probably even better that your little one has asked for one of them at least a million and three times! If you've never heard of Tummy Stuffers, then I can't wait to tell you all about a "toy" that will not only make your little one happy, but just might help with getting them to clean up after themselves!

About Tummy Stuffers...

The best-selling Tummy Stuffers collection features furry plush pals that double as the cleverest and cuddliest clean-up containers a kid could ever love! Terrific for helping children of all ages keep their bedrooms, playrooms and even camp bunks neat and tidy, Tummy Stuffers’ mouths open wide to keep kids’ things inside – and they “eat” everything right before their eyes! The brand-new Tummy Stuffers Wild Ones line-up features six fun and funky styles, including a spotted Dalmatian and Blue Leopard, polka-dotted Bunny and Giraffe, purple and pink striped Cat, and awesome argyle Monkey! Kids and tweens can store it all in the new Tummy Stuffers Wild Ones, from clothing and toys, to blankets, books and much more!

I have to admit, Tummy Stuffers are absolutely adorable and the fact that they do seem to help make my daughter clean up all of the random stuff she has lying around the house, is just a win-win as far as I'm concerned!  We were sent the 13" Giraffe Tummy Stuffer to review and it didn't take long before I was putting it to the test seeing how much stuff it could hold and I was genuinely shocked by how much room it actually had inside!  Check it out...

Here's our cute little giraffe before we stuffed her full of Lil Diva's stuff.

And here's our BIG giraffe stuffed full of more stuff than I imagined she could hold...check out the picture below to see what we managed to fit inside!

That's 2 pair of jeans (one pair of mine and a pair of my son's), 3 pair of shorts, 2 shirts, 2 scarves, and a pair of slippers...and we still had room for more!

I think it's pretty clear that Tummy Stuffers can hold quite a bit of stuff!  If you have little ones at home, then you definitely have to check out Tummy Stuffers, they are available in an array of many different animals options and will definitely provide hours of entertainment for your little one!  You can purchase Tummy Stuffers online at https://www.buytummystuffers.com/ for $19.99!

Holiday Gift Guide: Fisher-Price Barnyard Bingo Game {Win It!}

Our family loves to play games and though we don’t have a dedicated Family Game Night (setting one up is definitely one of my goals next year), we do love every opportunity that we have to share that time together as a family. Of course, when you have children who range in age from 15 to 5, it’s not always easy to find a game that the whole family can play and enjoy, but with Fisher-Price Barnyard Bingo, we found a game that the little kids can easily play and the big kids don’t mind playing with them!

About Fisher-Price Barnyard Bingo

FISHER-PRICE® BARNYARD BINGO: A barnyard full of animal and color matching fun awaits! This game helps preschoolers learn their colors and identify different barnyard animals. Kids pull the lever and “BOING”… a chip appears! The first player to get the three coins that match the color of his or her fence cards wins. For 2-4 players.

Product Highlights

• Three game levels of varying difficulty that grow with your child
• Animal Names & Colors game has players name the bingo chip colors and animals and make the animal sounds
• Players have to match all three color chips to their fence in the Matching Pairs game
• The Memory Match game is a race to see who can match three animal chips to their fence card first
• Encourages thinking, problem solving, sharing, cooperation, curiosity, discovery and fine motor skills
• Comes with the Barnyard Bingo™ farm, 12 animal bingo chips, four plastic fence cards, two label sheets (adult assembly required) and a parent guide with extended play and learning ideas
•

I love games that are designed for little ones, but that still offer enough fun for every member of the family to join in the play with them and Barnyard Bingo from Fisher Price is just that! The game itself is extremely cute and kid friendly; all of the parts are made bigger so that little hands can easily manipulate them and my little ones love the barnyard animals and the BOING sound that the barnyard makes when you pull the lever for another chip, always makes my little ones chuckle.

If you’re looking for the perfect game for the little animal lover on your holiday gift list, you should definitely check out Barnyard Bingo from Fisher-Price and at less than $15, it’s sure to be a hit this holiday season and you can find it wherever Fisher-Price products are sold!

Glow Crazy: The Perfect Toy for TOO Hot Summer Days!

It’s been hot in Ohio this summer…I mean HOT!  While summer might normally mean tons of fun outside, the higher the mercury climbs the more my kiddos are staying in doors where it’s cool.

Of course, having 6 children stuck inside on a hot summer day means hearing lots of, “MOM, we’re bored!” and the ever popular, “There’s NOTHING to do!”.  It’s not always easy to find something that all 6 of the kids like to do and it’s even harder finding something that will keep their attention for more than 10 minutes, that’s why I was more than happy when I received Glow Crazy for them to review!

If you’re unfamiliar with Glow Crazy let me give you the low-down on this wicked cool toy!

Glow Crazy is a glow-in-the-dark drawing toy that has provided my kiddos with hours of fun so far this summer.  Essentially Glow Crazy is a Magic Lightwand (think Lightsabers for kids that they can magically draw and write with) that your child can use to write and draw on the provided canvas wall clings.  When I say that this thing is cool, I mean it, even  my husband and I have played around with Glow Crazy (when the kids weren’t looking of course).  All you need is a dark room, batteries, and a wall…and your little ones will be drawing until their hearts content!

What you get when you order Glow Crazy!

1 Dual-action Magic Lightwand

2 canvas wall clings

4 Stencils

Tip booklet

And for less than $6 more you can get a second magic lightwand

5 canvas wall clings

AND  4 more stencils

Some cool features of Glow Crazy!

Works from over 10 feet away!

You can draw and write freehand or use the provided stencils!

You can easily make silhouettes!

Make wide beams or thin beams!

Target practice has never been more fun!

Discover a new form of Tic-Tac-Toe…Tic-Tac-Glow!

Why we loved Glow Crazy!

I love Glow Crazy because it’s easy enough for my youngest children to play with and still fun enough for our oldest kiddos to have a good time.  I also love that there is absolutely ZERO mess involved and that the wall clings can be easily moved from one wall to another without damaging the paint!  Glow Crazy is also a great way to inspire creativity in your children and as a mom I love that about this “toy”!

What I Don’t Love About Glow Crazy!

Honestly, there’s not one bad thing I have to say about the product…my children LOVE it and I love that they can all have fun playing with Glow Crazy.  The one thing I would suggest to all of you mommy and daddy’s out there is to make sure you order enough Glow Crazy’s so that you have one magic lightwand for each child.  I was sent one Lightwand and it has been a constant battle between the older kids and the little kids over whose turn it is to draw.

Aside from the fights over the Lightwand I would buy Glow Crazy in a second for all of my kids, they all have a great time playing with it, it definitely sparks major creativity, and it’s an awesome alternative to video or computer games or television!

Buy it!

You can purchase Glow Crazy (which includes all of the items listed above) from the Glow Crazy website for $24.99!

MagnaPlay Review and Giveaway! CLOSED

**Updated at bottom with winner**

Thanks to all who entered!

One of the most important criteria for me when purchasing toys for my children is that the toys be educational. With all of the technologically advanced toys on the market today education seems to take a back seat to music, lights, and sounds. As a mother I know my children’s desire to have the latest and greatest toys, but I also know my desire for them to learn while they play.

Recently I came across a company that makes educational toys that are both fun and portable. MagnaPlay takes the idea of magnetic toys and kicks it up a notch by making them easy to transport. “MagnaPlay strives to educate children and facilitate their creativity with its innovative educational activites. From learning the alphabet and numbers to coloring, word games, and puzzles, MagnaPlay offers fun activities for children of all ages.” With their main product the MagnaKase (which is a magnetic case designed to be an activity and storage center) MangaPlay built the rest of their products as accompaniments to the first. MagnaPlay’s mission is that they are dedicated to manufacturing innovative and creative activities that will enable children to learn while having fun anywhere, anytime! With all of their toys assembled in the US and tested by an accredited third party testing lab, MagnaPlay guarantees the safety of their toys and does so with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee! And just in case you need another reason to purchase MagnaPlay toys, 5% of their profits are donated to a Children’s Charitable Organization.

We received the Wooden Magnetic Number Puzzle from MagnaPlay. The Wooden Magnetic Number Puzzle comes with 30 magnetic wooden tiles that fit together to form 3-piece number, picture sets. The MagnaPlay magnetic number puzzle is designed to be used with the MagnaKase. I have to say that my two year old son really enjoyed playing with the number puzzle. With the help of his older sisters he was counting to ten (and recognizing the numbers) in a matter of an hour. The one gripe I do have about the MagnaPlay Wooden Magnetic Number Puzzle is that the product page is a little unclear about what is included in the purchase price. The picture shows the number puzzle being utilized with the MagnaKase, but the the MagnaKase does not come with the number puzzle. In the written description this is made clear by stating: MagnaKase not included, but by looking at the photos alone you get the impression that they are sold together. So while my children did thoroughly enjoy the magnetic number puzzle (they used the refrigerator in place of the MagnaKase) they could not take the puzzle along with them, which is pretty much what makes this product unique. I just wanted to make sure that was clear to anyone who may want to buy this product! * This has sense been changed on the website*

Buy it! You can purchase the MangaPlay Wooden Magnetic Number Puzzle and lots of other great MagnaPlay toys at MagnaPlay.com!
