If your little ones are Team Umizoomi fans who also happen to love NASCAR then they’ll not want to miss “The Great Shape Race” premiering this Friday on Nickelodeon and starring NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon!

Team Umizoomi takes off on a high-speed racing adventure in the brand-new special, “The Great Shape Race,” premiering Friday, Sept. 28, at 10:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. In the episode, UmiCar and DumpTruck are in a race to the top of Shape Mountain to see who will win the big prize... a magic Dodecahedron! Team Umizoomi needs to keep an eye on DumpTruck who will stop at nothing to win. Along the way, the team and the viewers at home will use their mighty math powers including shape recognition and counting.
A new promotional spot for the show featuring NASCAR star Jeff Gordon and Team Umizoomi will premiere during the special. In the spot, Gordon notices the wheels of his race car are triangles. It’s Team Umizoomi to the rescue as the three mini math-powered superheroes zoom onto the track in their UmiCar to change the triangle wheels into circles.
