Macy’s “Thank a Mom Movement” Make Mom Smile and Help a Great Cause!

What’s better than making Mom smile on Mother’s Day?  How about making mom smile and helping a good cause? 

 

This Mother’s Day, join Macy’s in their “Thank a Mom Movement” which not only  celebrates mom but empowers you to select which charity you want Macy’s to donate $5 (up to a total of $400,000) to in her honor. 

 

So how does it work?  All you have to do is send a FREE e-card to the amazing moms in your life and Macy’s will donate $5 to the charity of your choice (from the 5 mom approved charities below)!  You can visit Macy’s Facebook Fan page to find out more about the “Thank a Mom Movement”, create and send a free e-card, and to learn more about the 5 amazing mom-approved charities! 

 

I chose to have $5 donated to Futures Without Violence formerly Family Violence Prevention Fund ®.  As someone who fought their way out of an abusive relationship this charity is very special to me and I hope that all of you will create a card, put a smile on the face of the special moms in your life and help a good cause…it takes minutes, but those minutes can help impact someone’s life forever!
