One of my favorite pastimes is shopping and there is nothing I love more than shopping for shoes (oh come on you knew I was going to say shoes…every woman loves shoes).  And though shoe shopping for myself is quite fun I really love shopping for shoes for my girls…they are so many cute styles that I could spend hours admiring them all.

Recently I was introduced to a children’s shoe company that is taking adorable to a whole new level—Pickle Shoes!  Pickle Shoes is an online boutique that sells toddler shoes with a twist…they squeak.   Pickle Shoes has a variety of cute squeaky styles for girls and boys, finding the style you want won’t be hard…the hardest part will be choosing just one pair!

Here is some more about Pickle Shoes from their website:

Your premier online boutique for toddler shoes. Pickle toddler squeaky shoes are designed for style, durability, and comfort.  Kids love our shoes because they look and feel great! Parents love them because of the colorful styles, flexible leather and non-skid soles.  All of our shoes have a removable squeaker!

Check out the video of Lil Diva squeaking around in her Pickle shoes!

We received the Maryn shoes for our review and I was in love with them the instant I opened the box.  Lil Diva is all about girly things and she LOVES shoes so she was very excited when she saw her Pickle Shoes and immediately wanted to put them on.  One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to children’s shoes is how stiff and uncomfortable they seem to be, but I was pleasantly surprised at how flexible and soft the Pickle Shoes were.  Lil Diva seemed to have no problem at all getting accustomed to the shoes and was running around the house playing and laughing in no time.  Though comfort is high on my list of musts when it comes to children’s shoes, quality is number one, unfortunately most children’s shoes seem to be poorly made and as a result end up not lasting as long as they should.  I was impressed at how well made the Pickle Shoes we received are, from the stitching to the delicate rhinestones the shoes are just impeccably made and gorgeous!  Both Lil Diva and Lil Man are fascinated by the shoes  and their squeak, squeak, squeak when she walks.

I have received such positive feedback about the Maryn shoes from family, friends, neighbors, and total strangers, as a matter of fact, I think these shoes have been the most complimented of any item I have had the pleasure of reviewing.  On a recent trip to the grocery store (where Lil Diva insisted on walking around the store instead of riding in the cart) I was stopped and asked at least a dozen times where Lil Diva’s “adorable” shoes came from…I think Lil Diva may have a future as a spokesmodel.  Make sure you check out Pickle Shoes and lots more great companies in our 2010 Holiday Gift Guide!
