My son is quite possibly the biggest Thor fan of all time—seriously, he spends 90% of his days fighting Loki and defending Asgard—true story.  So I couldn’t not post the new poster for MARVEL’S THOR: THE DARK WORLD, it would have just been wrong and mean and well as soon as Lil Man saw it in my email he almost lost his mind and then spent the rest of the day being Thor (I was told he wasn’t actually pretending, that he was, in fact, Thor) so here Lil Man, this one’s for you.

Marvel’s "Thor: The Dark World" continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.  In the aftermath of Marvel’s "Thor" and "Marvel’s The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

  1. The poster is super cool, I mean it does have Brad Pitt after all. I am not crazy about Thor, but I do like me some Brad anytime. I never have understood all the hoopla about movie posters, but I can see that they are like works of poster art.

  2. The poster is very cool, but it's not Brad Pitt, it's Chris Hemsworth (who does favor Brad an awful lot) he's a total cutie!
