Last week I asked my girls to clean their room. About an hour into this cleaning fiasco I noticed that my youngest daughter had been up and down the stairs several times with loads of laundry in her arms. When I went into the laundry room I almost died…it seems that instead of putting their clean clothes away my girls decided to throw them all over their bedroom floor. The picture below is the result…8 loads of laundry, most of them clean clothes that I had to wash all over again just because they were too lazy to put them on hanger. I was one very upset mommy that day!

I love shoes! And summer, for me, means new shoes, sandals to be exact. Because come on, what’s hotter than new sandals in the summer? ...
OOps that is not fun.
ReplyDeleteOh no! I think I'd be teaching them how to use the washer!
ReplyDelete8 loads!? Oh my word. I would have been so upset.
ReplyDeleteThat's when I would've started showing them how to do laundry. I've done that to my 8yo. I make him sort his clothes, put them in the washer, switch them to the dryer when it's time, etc. taking him through all the steps until they're back in his room where they belong. I'm a mean mom lol.
ReplyDeleteI hate doing laundry. I would not be happy.
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for you hun!
ReplyDeleteGirl I feel you! My stack is almost twice as high! We need some maids lol.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. I hate to do laundry. I would be crying! :)
ReplyDeleteY'all this was seriously awful! I was so mad at my girls I couldn't see straight! It took me 2 days to get it all done! Never again...they will wear dirty clothes before I clean up a mess like that again!
ReplyDeleteI would have been FURIOUS and as a consequence, I would have made them wear the dirty (but not really dirty) clothes. I feel your pain, girl. I love clean clothes, but I hate doing laundry.
ReplyDeleteLOl..sorry..don't mean to laugh..but it's like my house. Crazy..and I am so bad at folding and putting them away..it makes it worse than just washing..
