We all love cookies…right? At my house a cookie jar full of cookies does not last long and if I’m successful in hiding the cookie jar (which does not happen often) the children go on a mad dash around the house searching for the allusive cookies. I was recently asked to do a review for Pillsbury simply cookies and being a cookie lover myself I could not resist this one!
Pillsbury is a name synonymous with quality and their new line of Simply cookies is no exception. Here’s a little more information from pillsbury.com about Pillsbury simply cookies…
Pillsbury® simply...™ Cookies
Made with just the simple, wholesome ingredients you and your family know and love. This chocolate chip cookie dough is made just like you would make at home: same ingredients, same process, and same joy in every bite. Simply pop in the oven and enjoy!
Pillsbury simply cookies come in two delicious flavors; Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter and contain no trans fat, high fructose corn syrup, or artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Want to try the new Pillsbury simply cookies? Head on over to pillsbury.com and print out a $1 off coupon…saving money definitely makes these cookies taste sweeter!
Thanks to My Blog Spark I have a great giveaway for all of you cookie lovers out there! One winner is going to receive a Pillsbury simply Prize Pack! ReplyDeleteI use alot of recipes off the computer, shortcuts. I love to cook and bake home made, but cutting corners like useing jar sauces, or cookies already to be baked is really helpful when you are on the go.
I have a staple of spices that I use in pretty much everything: garlic, basil, S&P, then adjust the meat, veggies and pasta or rice to go with it then add another spice or flavor (i.e. teriyaki {?sp}, worchestershire, tomato, etc.) to suit whatever we feel like that night. Or, when I'm REALLY in the mood to short-cut, I call for take-out!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win these, I saw them in the store and wondered about them, I'd love to try them before I buy...

I make cooking simple because I do more than I need for 1 day. I will make extra grilled chicken breasts so we can have them for dinner and then the next day on a salad. I will cook hamburgers one night and have spaghetti the next. It saves me so much time and it is easier to shop this way.

I make cooking simple by using very few ingredients. If it were up to me, I'd be making fancy, gourmet fare with tons of exotic stuff. But my husband and kids prefer plain, simple food, so I defer to the masses.

ReplyDeletewrites: We all know that cleanliness is important during the prep work of our meals. My hands get chapped by soaps, so I keep a Lysol towelette handy when all I need to do is clean my fingertips instead of washing my whole hand. At the end of the prep work I use the towelette to clean up any meat juices, which dripped onto the countertop.

We make batches of things like lasagna or meatballs and freeze them so we have meals for a few nights instead of just one. Buying meats in bulk and dividing them up into enough for 2 ppl has also helped us a lot - just get out extra packs if anybody's coming over to eat.

Mary at zttmm1314{at}yahoo{dot}{com} is writing about a non giveaway bog, which was written in April. It is by Marri66, and is titled, "Looking for a good appetite suppresant." Nuts are a great source of protein, and protein helps to keep appetite pangs in check. Just a handful of raw walnuts or peanuts ebbs the pangs and does not add a lot of calories to your daily intake.

Mary T. at zttmm1314{at}yahoo{dot}{com} is writing a response to Carla's "The issue of Child Support," writeen on 9/18/2008. The area most people don't think of, as being the real problem of dead-beat parents, is the fact that we can freely move to whichever state we want. One state does not have any power over the citizens of another state. Only the federal government can step-in, and they do by charging dead-beat parents with, "Flight to Avoid Prosecution." Custodial parents do not think of going to the feds to help locate the non-custodial parent, and yet sadly the feds don't have enough manpower to take on all deadbeat parents. The only current remedy for quick prosecution is the custodial parent hiring a private investigator. Too often though, the custodial parent can't afford the fees.
ReplyDeleteNormally we use cookie mixes...can't be any simpler than that
