So today I reached my breaking point! I was at the grocery store with my children...keep in mind that I have 4 children...anyway I was walking down the canned food aisle with all 4 of my very cranky children, when I noticed that this woman was starring at me and whispering (very obviously about me) to the lady who was with her. Alright let me back up. I'm 29 (will be 30 in Feb.) and most people still think that I look 18, why? I have no clue, but it really annoys me. Now I have no way of knowing if this lady thought that I was 18 with 4 kids, or she was whispering about my children being cranky...either way it was very rude. So what do I do? I stand there and stare back at her until she realizes that I have realized that she is starring at and whispering about me. She then turns red and very hurridly rushes past me. I know that I shouldn't have stooped to her level, but I was so annoyed and offended that I resorted to doing the very thing that she was being rude for. I'm sure that my children thought I was absolutely nuts...Oh well I guarantee that woman will never stare and whisper so obviously again.

Just needed to get that off my chest!

  9. Good for you! I don't see it as "stooping to her level" more like teaching her a lesson. I get the same looks and even comments about my kids because they are all so close in age. I had a little soapbox moment about it a few posts ago and it made me feel better. Hope your venting helped you get a little relief. People are just crazy sometimes!
