Year after year I watch my children as they write their letters to Santa. I remember the anxious excitement that I used to feel when I was a child as I wrote my letter to Santa. Would he write me back? Would he really bring all of the presents I asked for? Those questions always filled my head as I was writing. Well this year I had had enough of sitting back and watching my kids have all the fun so I decided to write my own letter to Santa.

Dearest Santa,
I know I may be a little too old to be writing you a letter, but with the state my house is in at the moment I figured it couldn't hurt to ask...you know and maybe I shall receive? I would love to ask you how Mrs. Claus is and the reindeer, but in the interest of saving time (and let's face it these days I don't have too much of that) I'll cut right to the chase.

My Christmas List

1. A day of relaxation!
I do know how unrealistic this request is, but if you could just arrange a nice hot bubble bath without interruption it would be greatly appreciated!

2. A trip to the bathroom by myself.

I realize how easy this may seem, but in the nine years that I've been a mom I haven't made it there yet without one, or three of my kids following me.

3. A clone of myself.

Now I know how controversial this request may be, I believe it is vital to preserve my sanity! If you insist that this is just too much I'll settle for an extra pair of hands...I'm not picky.

4. A magic wand.
To turn all of the mess to money.

5. A maid. You didn't really think I was going to clean up all that money by myself did you?

6. Last but not least I would like for you to turn my fiance into a stay-at-home Mom for a day.

Alright so I realize how impossible that last one is...but boy would it be funny!

Sincerely,
MisadventurousMommy
